(ai-ofblueflames) It was easy to note the oddity located on the laptop's screen, as what seems to appear as an stitched up, zombie-like AI was floating about. After a moment, he sat on the top of one of the documents with a frown on his face... If it could even be seen.
Kaiba didn’t take immediate action, despite the alarm filing orderly through his veins. It would be a simple matter to destroy the thing, probably-- and if not, the laptop would have been completely severed from his network, anyway, to prevent a spread. All his work was backed up, so it would be no big loss.
But it was puzzling. If this was a virus, it was a strange one. He’d never heard of one taking on a more or less human shape. Most viral programs were disguised as other programs, or simply a quiet switch that shot chaos through the system. This was something else-- no, it looked and behaved more like the desktop buddies that used to amuse him so long ago.
He sat forward, his elbows on either side of the laptop, and twined his fingers together. With his chin pressed thoughtfully to the backs of his hands, he decided to simply watch it for a while. Wherever it came from, whatever it was, it certainly wasn’t going to stay... but it puzzled him nonetheless to see something so seemingly innocent (albeit creepy) that could get past his security systems.
‘Perhaps Mokuba downloaded it.’
