the last thing that jaesun expects for the lgc family concert is to be called in and told that he’d be an mc for the show. honestly, he hadn’t even known that this would be an opportunity for trainees, but the moment he’s told this, his heart is racing wildly in his chest in excitement. he had no idea why he’d been chosen out of all the trainees to be selected, but he won’t complain. he’ll make sure that the company isn’t disappointed in their decision to choose him out of many.
he looks at the prompts that have been given to him, and they seem manageable. an individual introduction as well as an introduction to the five songs being performed. certainly they’ll also have cue cards to ensure that they don’t forget this information, right?
well, even if they don’t give them any, he knows that he’ll work twice as hard on this part to make sure that he doesn’t give off a bad first impression. this will be the first time he’s getting a chance to host, after all.
as the show begins, he turns to hyorin as she begins, waiting for the cue for all of them to bow together. his body falls low to make sure his bow is respectable, and he waits a tad longer before he gets up. he doesn’t want to be that awkward kid who gets up first during the bow.
once the female finishes introducing himself, he gives his own name, age, and the number of years he’s trained. he ends his introduction with a little heart thrown towards the audience. as soon as the introductions are completed, he then begins to introduce the five songs that were performed.
a wave of relief does overcome him, however, when he finishes that little segment. maybe he had been a little nervous after all. hyunjin soon begins to ask about their feelings of being on the stage to which jaesun adds that he feels alive and excited to be a part of this memorable day.
unfortunately, the segment is short, and before they know it, it’s time for the next number to begin.
