Final Asylum SPG concert appreciation post before I shut up about the whole thing forever

 - The way the british fans have decided that Steve and Zero have earned the right to be chanted, and thus do so at every opportunity we have. 

- Bryan's Zero-chant dance 

- David's (as Spine)'s complete and utter bemusement for how much the british love GG. We love her, OK.

- The Bully dancing offstage to Honeybee 

- Chatting to nearby fans I never meet before or again just because we can 

- Feeling just a little sad and old that I was the only fan with a kazoo for Make Believe 

- Trebuchet. 

- The Spine explaining every dang joke which is 50x funnier for some reason 

- Rabbit pose 1. 

- Rabbit pose 2. 

- Rabbit pose 3 (yass queen). 

- Someone yelling 'fit' at Spine and him acknowledging with a nod. 

 sigh. OK, I'm done. I know tumblr doesn’t read these anymore but I wanted to put it SOMEWHERE to be remembered. It was a good concert, is what I'm saying.

Spent today with an alan key in hand alongside Will, Ying and Maintenance - making, or at least starting to make, 167 desk chairs. Apparently a big guest complaint is that when room service is ordered for two people, they cannot sit together at their table. So we’ve decided to do something about it.

either roy/alan or ram/tron for the brotp thing

who steals french fries off the other’s plate

RAM AND ROY BOTH DO IT (tron’s not so good with food anyway, too many textures and flavours and just general sensory overload. ram’s doing it to help him, honest.)

alan just never finishes his food anyway, so roy might as well have them while they’re warm

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple

ram, altho tron did it one time and people actually fell for it

roy and alan probably mix it up, alan’s poker face is better tho

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail

ram bails tron out (”you’re not a security monitor off-grid, tron!! you can’t just arrest people!”) but tron busts ram out

alan has saved roy from a few hacking/flynn lives-related arrests

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues

OH MY GOD, ROY. alan gets so dorky and nervous sometimes and roy’s just like [eyeroll] alAN BRADLEY you NERD it’s FINE

 ram’s the same for tron, mostly, except he has to translate emotional stuff for tron

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk

ram, but tron grumbles about needing to be a lookout

alan doesn’t really care as long as it’s something vaguely horizontal

who starts and who wins the pillow fights

ram starts it and ram wins (he plays dirty and improvises better than tron, also tron fusses over possibly hurting him. if he exaggerates “injuries” he’s got a much better chance at beating tron)

roy starts it, alan wins (height advantage)

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush

alan is embarrassed and shrugs it off awkwawrdly. tron is absolutely mortified. (man i need to write up that thing about the purple circuitry boxers)

Who would throw the other in the pool:

kevin. it’s always kevin. of course it is.

Who is the better carer when the other is sick:

 alan frets too much, kevin’s kinda like NAWH MAN, IT’LL BE FINE, and lora’s like [eyeroll] men and looks after them. she doesn’t put up with man flu though.

alan absolutely dotes on her when she’s sick, though. there is nothing he won’t do for her.

Who would force the other to do extreme sports with them:

kevin. probably extreme GRIDSPORTS tbh. lora’s game, alan’s not so sure (he enjoys it though)

Who would cook the better romantic dinner:

kevin’s a surprisingly inventive cook when it comes to whatever bits they’ve got left in the cupboard but never bothers to actually make anything, lora can cook but doesn’t really like it all that much. alan’s initially useless in the kitchen but learns fast once he starts dating lora. by the time kevin happens, he’s a bit of a wizard with food (although after 89 he doesn’t bother so much, unless lora’s around)

Who would build the blanket fort in the living room:

initially kevin, but lora drags alan in too

Who would have the best holiday ideas:

lora. kevin has the crazy ideas, alan’s like noooooo flynn stop, and lora comes up with a happy compromise

Who would need to clean out the other’s stuff to make room for their own:

kevin tends to collect a lot of crap, lora has millions of textbooks and alan’s too sentimental to throw anything away (i guarantee you he still has a lot of kevin’s stuff hanging around by 2010)
