I'm not a fan of allurance, I don't care much for it, but people shouldn't deny that their relationship is a slowburn. Lance liked her at the start, and continues to like her, while also starting to grow much more respect for her than he had in the very beginning, and I believe Allura's also starting to see that. It's a slowburn bc it started off as unrequited, and not completely serious, but it's gotten growing potential to become something more.

it's less hating allurance in general (I actually love allurance in fanon) but it's more how the writers are handling it that makes me hope they aren't endgame because there's just no chemistry in canon, not to mention lance's feelings havent been requited for 6 seasons. I don't think it's bad to dislike a het couple being canon if its because of how their "romantic" relationship is written in the show

i agree that interracial ships are as groundbreaking as lgbt+ ships and people shouldnt hate on a=urance bc of that or bc its 'just another het ship' but in canon their story is portrayed as 'boy likes girl, girl doesnt like boy, they end up together and boy gets what he wants and girl gets what she didnt know was right for her (: ' and its so het normative and really n o t written well/naturally so if ppl dont like canon bc of it and are ok with fanon where it i s written well why isnt that ok?

listen. i don’t necessarily agree that a//urance is portraying that, but i get it everyone has their opinions and i’m not gonna fight about it. but what i am trying to say is that people need to stop calling it another het ship like you said and need to stop demonizing a black girl in the process.
