This shot and trip has been on my wish list for years. My buddy @jussiruottinenphotography and I headed down to Seward, Alaska and were able to strap our inflatable paddleboards that @bodyglove to the side of a heli via my friends at @sewardhelicopters and we’re flown out to one of my favorite places, Bear Glacier. I have flown over this area a few times over the years, so getting dropped off to hang out for the day was definitely a bucket list item that is now checked off. A week or so ago I was invited on a mini overnight Heli-hiking trip out to Knik Glacier with @flyalphaair x @anchoragehelicoptertours I obviously jumped onboard without a second thought. I have flown over and around this area a few times in bush planes and have always wanted to camp out and explore the area more. So this was our chance! We got dropped off mid afternoon, set up camp and hiked the ridge and onto Knik Glacier to explore around. When we finally got back to camp we were graced with a pretty stunning sunset. But just like all adventures, they come to an end and we were picked up the next morning to head home. So stoked to see more companies offering services like this!
