Ozzy's Plan
Survivor South Pacific
Episode 7: "Trojan Horse"
On the 5th duel on redemption island, Mikayla and Christine tried to outplay each other to stay on redemption island. Christine and Mikayla had to take the planks from a crate, use those to create a bridge, then use those planks to solve a puzzle. Albert helped Mikayla on her challenge by coaching her what to do, but Christine, by herself, was good enough to finish first the puzzle right. Jeff then asked Mikayla to toss her buff on the fire. Mikayla was crying as she was heading out of the duel arena- for this time, she is out for good.
Cochran and Ozzy witnessed the duel, and before they arrived to their camp, they talked about the chances of the redemption island working well for their tribe. Ozzy told Cochran that if they lose the next immunity challenge, he would volunteer and send himself to redemption island, with a greater chance of defeating Christine.
Challenge came and Jim was assigned as "caller" while Cochran to manage the rope, for Savaii tribe. The rest of the tribe were blindfolded, attached on the rope, following the caller's order to get the bag needed. The challenge has been neck-and-neck battle until Savaii's rope got tangled causing delay to other blindfolded members. It opened opportunity for Upolu, which then had the lead. Upolu won immunity and reward leaving Savaii with nothing, and Ozzy frustrated.
Savaii went back on their camp, all fingers pointed to Cochran why they lost the challenge. They talked of the Redemption Island that night, pushing Cochran on it. All of them agreed to send Cochran to Redemption Island saying it is time for him to redeem himself. Cochran seemed not to argue.
The next morning, Ozzy woke up, put his idol on his neck, showed it to the whole tribe. He said to his tribe that he should go to Redemption Island, which Cochran immediately agreed on. At the tribal council, Ozzy volunteered to be voted off, and gave his idol to Cochran. Though there was slight disagreement by Jim and Keith, Ozzy received all the votes from his tribemates. And after Jeff snuffed his torch, he excitedly made his way to the Redemption Island.

Wow! I think, this is the biggest move a whole tribe has done in the history of Survivor. Well, I actually have thought of it during the Redemption Island seaon, but I knew it was crazy and that no one will ever like to be voted off and take chances. Anyway, let us wait and see if Ozzy's plan will work. But I am 99% sure that merge will come next episode. << I have this ideas that CBS ordered Ozzy to do this. >>
Upolu. Albert just increases the hate of Christine to their tribe, he should not coach Mikayla. I remember David of Redemption Island and how disappointed he was when Stephanie lost to Matt, but at least he didn't say anything back then.On Upolu tribe, I like Sophie and how she plays with Coach in the game and how she has doubts on him personally. I also don't think there is a need for Coach to show to everyone the idol, or maybe he is not anymore comfortable that only him, Albert and Sophie knew that he has the idol.
Speaking of the immunity idol, Cochran really gets benefits out of Ozzy's craziness. If ever Ozzy gets back to the game, I would love to see Cochran not returning the idol to him << evil laugh >:D >> And if Ozzy defeat Christine, it would be a heart-break for Christine, that's for sure.
To summarize this episode, this one is EPIC. I hope viewers now enjoy the twist of Redemption Island.
