If you have any questions or comments, by all means hit the ask box
(Trahearne, Laranthir and Gavin are canon characters, the rest belongs to me)
just some trammander doodles for my soul
19 & 20 for alaritheis?
19. People they've hurt or indirectly killed, and how it affected them
As Pact Commander, Al has always felt entirely personally responsible for the safety any of its members, so to a point they blame themselves for each of them that Al couldn't save. It's never as bad as with Trahearne, though. The thought that they couldn't save the love of their life is something that absolutely consumes Al when they don't busy themselves with something, be it running with Dragon's Watch or drawing, making jewelry, or exploring. Just about anyone they 'failed to protect' weighs on their conscious though, so much they get panic attacks when it gets too much.
20. What ifs/alternate Timelines
The predominant one, which I view on par with the 'canon' (fuck anet) one is an AU in which Al didn't listen to Trahearne and instead severed the pod that stell held him from the rest of Mordremoth. In the AU, Trahearne still has the dragon in his head, and keeps it subdued with willpower and a bit later, implants into his temples that Taimi made to counter Mordremoth's brainwave frequency.
With the dragon subdued, Trahearne slowly reverts closely towards his original body similar to the other ex-Mordrem sylvari, but keeps some bark and stays a little larger than previously.
He exits the pod too, with his legs mostly intact apart from the bark, but weakened, so that he can't really do field work anymore, but stays in Caer Aval for organization and research.
In that AU, while there's still trauma to be dealt with, the two get married in the Grove, and are happy as they deserve to be!!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to rant about this, and sorry my answer is so late!
They wanna get that First Price for the nice overgrowth Trahearne has managed to sprout.
