nowadays, it was rare for the volturi to let him out of their sight for too often. he was deemed too useful when they were interrogating others that he had to stay by their side. yet, he finally managed to sneak away and meet up with mary. having her work his shaft up was enough for him to finally take the lead. "come here." it was a rushed whisper as he leaned down and wrapped an arm around her waist. "i think you've earned your reward." with ease, the vampire hooked his other arm behind her knee and picked her up. "do you want to do it here or go somewhere else?"

Fifteen years. It had been fifteen years since she set foot in this place. Whenever she repeated the number in her head it became more and more unreal. She couldn’t be forty, she couldn’t be washed up, and she definitely couldn’t have been fifteen full years away from the last time she felt at home.Part of her hoped that when she returned to HQ she’d pass through the threshold and feel whole again. 

But when she pushed open the glass front door and dragged her roller suitcase into the room, the first thing she felt was the need to sneeze. wrinkling her nose and grimacing, she looked out over the dusty couch and table. Beth sighed - a deep and wistful exhale. 

But her words did not reflect the swelling she felt in her chest, “Geez, they couldn’t even vacuum for us, huh?”

I mean, it’s just a white blob on top of some other colors. Alec! You know you agree with me,” Sipping from her wine, Naomi glanced up toward the guy who towered over her to the right, an amused expression on her face. The only way she could have gotten through her brother’s art show was with the tall glass of booze in her hand and Alec at her side. Don’t get her wrong, the arts were something Naomi lived for, but more so in the music form as opposed to what was supposed to be abstract paintings. With her brother fleeing back into town with his bag on his back returning from a tour around Europe with news of his show, Naomi practically drug Alec by the ear out with her. At least he got a night free of kids, and alcohol along with it. “Alec, I’m not kidding. I’m not seeing things, am I?” She lowered her voice, chuckling.
