From the archives of when I used to work at @thestudioadi. I love these photos this Pumpkinhead bust that I took in @tom_woodruffjr's section of the office. He had just cast it from the original mold, painted it, and you could see how excited and proud he was of the piece. Also, I think I got a couple of quality photos that do it justice. Pumpkinhead was directed by Tom and Alec's mentor Stan Winston and for me remains a testament to the independent spirit, all the more admirable because it was made by someone working in the heart of the studio system. Today while working on @raybradburyliveforever I created a spiny #prehistoric tree by dabbing caulking on a dowel. This is a trick I stole from @alec_gillis who used it to create miniature monster teeth on @harbingerdown but then he told me he stole it from Rob Bottin.
