I am trained in art appreciation and I'm the top docent in the entire US Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. You are nothing to me but just another edgy fine arts freshman. Today is a special day!
It's the birthday of one of my most favorite people in the entire world: Alec. You might know him from his absolutely stunning art blog here on tumblr, or from a couple weeks ago when we celebrated Jacob van Loon's birthday together on our respective blogs. Either way, he's an incredible person and everyone who has half a brain should go check out his blog and give it a follow; even before we became friends, his was one of my favorite art blogs on tumblr.
Although Alec's away right now on a month-long trip, in his honor, I'll be posting works by an artist he requested: Francis Picabia.
