“The Battle Within: A History of the #Injustice Universe” - The Battle Never Ends; Conclusion: Before the sequel video game to #InjusticeGodsAmongUs, #Injustice2 was released in May 2017, a month prior writer #TomTaylor returned to write a prequel tie-in arc for the new game. As #Superman is still contained in a prison cell, #Batman and a new ally in #HarleyQuinn try to figure how to fix the damage the Man of Steel and his regime has done. Before Harley can be of service to the #DarkKnight, she is involuntarily tied to be part of the #SuicideSquad. As #GreenArrow from a different timeline and #BlackCanary who joined him return to this current universe to help, not only does Batman go up against another more lethal Batman (cover to issue 2 by #BrunoRedondo and #AlejandroSanchez presented) but also the prison becomes weakened, giving Superman a chance to escape. A squabble between Bruce and Damian aka #Robin and a struggle to make this reality whole again all lead into the current Injustice 2 comics out today. #TheBatman has been part of dozens upon dozens of different timelines and universes within DC Comics history and the Injustice Universe is perhaps one of the most exciting, bringing together both long time comic book readers and gamers alike.
