Get a fic on my desk ASAP about this post. (Read the post, this won't make sense without it).
Post-Zero Hour, a bunch of imps start defecting from the Empire because they're inspired by Kallus's actions. Kallus becomes more and more confused as these rebels start approaching him, thanking for being so inspiring and for what he did. Kallus, knowing that he was a high-ranking officer but wasn't aware of how high ranking he was, is completely confused and bewildered every time he gets a heartfelt speech from each ex-imperial about how he inspired them to finally take action and leave the empire for the rebellion.
I also need the rebels and ghost crew realizing this too. To ghost crew, he was just a guy who always showed up and tried to capture them before becoming a reformed rebel. To the entire rebel agency he was just a guy from the Empire who decided to become Fulcrum and give vital info. (Honestly, this would explain how quickly he rose in the ranks in the series, if I'm remembering this right bc I watched rebels three years ago)
Either way, just a thought....
