literally archie has been abused and manipulated, is csa survivor, seen like several dead bodies, saved a friend from suicide, has divorced parents, (and none of this is really addressed) but i guess the obvious correlation between his trauma specifically with relationships is nonexistent and his only purpose it to be a fuckboy ??? crazy how that works

riley? smiling every second, helping topanga and katy out in the cafe and getting to know her usual customers. she loves her community, she really does, and just before they open each day she heads out to their courtyard to share a scone and a hot chocolate with two shoes louie. he prefers chocolate chip but she likes blueberry and sometimes they compromise on cranberry white chocolate, but topanga always makes sure they’re nice and warm

maya? working with her art teacher on some new projects and going to new museum exhibits every week. she went to the costume institute at the met yesterday and riley insisted on coming along and taking photos of the pieces so that maya could get up close and sketch in the moment while they were there and still be able to revisit the outfits later

lucas? pappy joe is about to surprise him with a plane ticket back to texas to work on his farm for the next couple weeks. he’s got a few horses just days away from giving birth and he knows lucas would love to help out. he’s even planning on letting lucas name them since, you know, they’ll be lucas’ one day when he eventually takes over the family ranch (that’s pappy joe’s other surprise. it comes with a massive barn structure that could easily be converted into a vet’s office)

zay? he scored a scholarship to a ballet intensive at the joffrey. he’s coming home sore every day and he’s had about three ice baths in the last 24 hours but he’s loving every second of it. a couple of his instructors have even talked to him about possibly taking more classes at the joffrey during the school year, and he has a broadway audition coming up as well

smackle? the girl managed to score an internship at a local hospital for the summer. at fifteen years old. amazing. she says she wants to explore multiple scientific careers before she eventually decides on one. she’s spending her days shadowing surgeons and psychologists and nurses and pediatricians and she’s even gotten to work with a few patients, just asking them some basic questions while the nurses do their check-ups, but she’s loving it and she’s actually beginning to consider medical school. maybe she’ll change the world with a breakthrough in medicine someday

farkle? he’s at columbia. seriously. he was accepted to their pre-college program and he’s spending his summer taking college-level courses in science. his favorite class traces important scientific discoveries throughout history, since mr. matthews has gotten him quite interested in the past. he’s helping out his father at the company as well, and he’s got his own name plaque on his father’s desk. the other employees insist on calling him “lil genius” even when he rolls his eyes (that just makes them do it more)

so yeah. they love each other and they’re happy and they’re really thriving.

Zay had been the first of his friends to join youtube. He didn’t think he’d get any followers considering his first videos were 10 second clips of him and friends saying stupid nonsense. But once he hit 500 followers he thought maybe he could do something else with his channel, so he revamped it. Gave it a makeover and started thinking of video ideas he could make. Once he started dancing and choreographing dances he thought that would be an excellent video series he could have. Sometimes he’d even invite his friends for story time videos, and because of this his friends started getting used to youtube and the works. Now at 1.8 million subscribers Zay is content with his youtube career.
