ALEXIS FOXE PERFORMS THIS SATURDAY: A NIGHT A BURLESQUE AND MUSIC
NYC-based "cinematic-pop" artist ALEXIS FOXE will perform at Crash Mansion this Saturday, 2/19/11, as part of No Pulp Music's Night of Music and Burlesque
Booking artists for an event that features half-naked ladies on stage in between acts wasn't as easy as one may think. It takes a specific kind of sound, energy, and show to keep the night flowing until the end. With that in mind, we couldn't be happier to have Alexis Foxe performing at 11pm this Saturday!
Alexis boasts a sexy, sultry voice (and look!) with electronic melody-ridden tracks. She grew up as a world-traveler and transcends her experienced cultures into her music forming a multi-layered genre of its own.
Like many of today's top artists, Alexis Foxe is more than just a talented songwriter, she's a PRESENCE. She doesn't just sit on the stage and sing at the audience. She wears hot costumes and captures them with her show; she lives the character of Alexis Foxe and she PERFORMS.

NO PULP MUSIC PRESENTS: A NIGHT OF MUSIC AND BURLESQUE When: THIS SATURDAY, February 19th —7PM 'till 2AM (Alexis Foxe is on at 11pm, but come early to see the burlesque between sets and enjoy the open vodka bar from 8pm -- 9pm!) Where: Crash Mansion Cover: $8 (Come before 7:30pm to enjoy a reduced cover of $5!) 21+ -- (sorry kiddos -- not for little eyes)
ALEXIS FOXE is a True Fashionista Now
I had a chance to see and hear Alexis Foxe perform a few months ago at a fashion bloggers fundraiser. Ms. Foxe is one of those artist that takes you back to a time when cabaret and high fashion was in vogue. The sound of her music still resonates images of creativity and avante garde fashionistas and that's one of the reason I love her. I was excited to see her upcoming tour schedule titled 'LOVE IN THE TIME OF COLONICS' and thought I'd share it because she is a True Fashionista Now and we love her.
