Marie truly had no idea how Aliza could do it all; two beautiful kids, an awesome husband and no less awesome girlfriend. Meanwhile, she was having trouble keeping tabs on one kid, and they weren’t even that much of a kid anymore. However, she learned to admire it, and as she embraced that side of her friend, she got to know her more than awesome girlfriend, Alex. Honestly, she wasn’t sure if she ever met someone this cool before; there was something about the woman’s laid back attitude that was charming, in a way. Besides, she was Aliza’s girlfriend, and that meant she had to befriend her, no questions asked.
During the gala that was wonderfully crafted by Aliza, Marie was able to catch a moment with Alex, “Hey hey!” She greeted, a glass of champagne in her hand, “Honestly, thank god for these parties, I need a reason to get out of the house.”
