Sometimes I think about how Laurens and Hamilton were real and how in 2026 people still celebrate their (possible) love, a love they had to hide all their lives. Just makes me a bit emotional as a queer person in those dark times when it feels like we are so unsafe once more.

Am I the only one who often thinks about James Hamilton Jr? I mean come on, surely he heard about his brother's life in the US, right? What did he think of it?? Did they ever meet again after they got separated? If I remember correctly Alex sent him letters but I'm not sure if I misread and it referred solely to James Sr (dad) ?

I'm just so intrigued because they lived through hell as boys together and the thought that they never reconnected afterwards devastates me.

(yes I have issues with my brother, can you tell?)

And I wonder if he ever met Peter (half brother)? I recall Peter leaving Alex in his will but what about James? I don't know I'm just so curious about James Hamilton
