Young people met at the @united-nations on 1-2 February 2016 to discuss how they can play an active role in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which will frame international development for the next 15 years.
Speaking with UN Radio about the importance of youth, Mr. Ahmad Alhendawi, the UN Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, said, "On the 17 goals there are different targets relating to youth development. So I think part of our task in the future is grouping the targets relating to youth development and make sure we measure the progress we are making in the coming years." -
