Good morning y’all!! What are we reading today?? . . So i stayed up until about 5:30am reading Eliza and Her Monsters and i’m pretty freaking obsessed. Like, i actually contemplated staying up all night just to read... but then i would totally be non-functional today. 😂😩 . . I’m definitely going to finish it tonight 😬 . . Challenges 🖤♥️ #juneinbooks18 - Make a Bookish Circle #aliceinjune - the March Hare: Strangest Book Youve Ever Read - I read a lot of strange books tbh. But one of my favorites because of how bizarre it was is probably Libba Bray’s Beauty Queens. It’s about a bunch of pageant girls who are stranded on a deserted island. And then reality tv pirates come in and basically it’s sort of like Lord of the Flies but with a bunch of crazy girls in dresses. And no cannibalism. #beautiesofjune - Lefou: LGBTQ Characters - So these are a bunch of my favorite books with LGBTQ characters in them. 😍❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #bookstawarriorsjune18 - Fairytale Friday - I know i haven’t read it yet because, you know, slacker, but the Lamguage of Thorns is a bunch of fairytales that takes place in Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse. And I am soooo excited to read it!! Have you read it yet? QOTD: What’s something non-bookish that you collect?? A: Knee-High Socks 😍😍 I get yelled at when i buy them since I’ve got about 25 pairs... but I can’t help it!! I love them so much!! (and i totally deal with the pain since i love them soooo much!!) . . Happy Sunday y’all!! What are we reading?? . . With the weather acting up my leg is on fire - so all fabric and movement is kind of killer. But that’s why i’m not doing anything today! And since I stayed up until 3:30 this morning to finish as much of the green mer as possible, she’ll be done in an hour and I can start the yellow one!! So excited!! (And maybe I’ll finish Wicked Like a Wildflower today since it’s been rough. 😩 . . Challenges 🖤♥️ #juneinbooks18 - Happy #socksunday - These are one of my favorite pairs!! I love the planets and color of them so much 🙈 #aliceinjune - Six Impossible Things: Favorite Sci-Fi Book - I don’t really have a favorite, exactly, but my favorite types of Sci-Finare actually fairytale retellings!! #beautiesofjune - Princess Belle: Favorite Disney Princess - Belle. I always had a connection with her because, well, the reading thing. 😂 But besides her, Ariel 💙 #supernaturalsummer18 - Plant - So imagine this: you’re blind. And the only way that you can see is by shoving a rose thorn beneath your nail so you can see the world through the roses in your garden. Princess Isra from Of Beast and Beauty is amazing and this book blew me away!! I read it in one sitting a few years ago and now am obsessed with this author 🙈 #atlabooks18 - Sokka: A Leader + Socksunday - Cinder. She’s just so... 😍😍😍 #bookstawarriorsjune18 - Happy Birthday Jessica!!! 🎉🎉 (Must Read Authors) - Besides some of the obvious (SJM, Marissa Meyers, etc) I definitely always buy Amanda Hocking, Stacey Jay, Marie Lu, Beth Revis, and Sharon Cameron. #bookishtarot18 - the Hermit: A Recluse Character - I mean, Cress and Princess Isra (OBaB) are not hermits by choice, but they are. And i love them so much 😍😭 #fiercecreaturesinlit - Harpie: Not as it seems - (TELL ME THIS IS NOT A SWAN PRINCESS REFERENCE!?!?!) I can’t say why, but you just need to read pretty much ALL of these books are not as they seem 💖
