I like how this script efficiently handles the question of the will they or won’t they sexual tension by just showing us that Ripley and Clemens had mutual agreeable sex almost immediately. And there’s not even a sex scene. It’s just like… oh, they had some grownup recreation. How nice.

But then they have the ongoing, and more interesting dynamic of when will Ripley tell him the truth?, and what’s his mysterious backstory?

This is a really good film, actually.
