Inara breaks herself out of Fort Drakon. Things are weird between her and Alistair, Morrigan has stopped talking to her. She can tell Eamon doesn't like her at all.
So she has no idea that anyone would come rescue her. She escapes herself, getting very injured and shot with a few arrows in the process. Teagan finds her in the street and carries her home.
If she knew that her companions were coming to save her, she'd have broken down in tears. She'd be so grateful.
