I know fandom can get weird, tumblr can get weird, but they can be so nice sometimes. Like, people are generally pretty nice, you know?
I made a fairly vague post a couple of weeks ago about my upcoming trip to NYC and now someone I don’t even know has sent me this super lovely list of things to check out and advice from a local and it’s just such a nice thing to do (That word again. I know. It’s 4am, forgive me).
And it just makes me remember how much I hate it when people tell others (usually younger, often NA or suffering some form of social anxiety) to stop wasting time online, go outside and talk to real people. That line of thinking can fuck right off.
So yeah, it’s 4am and I’m a little loopy from sleep deprivation, but thanks, hansbekhart, and everyone else I’ve communicated with here. You’re all great.
