Shadow's voice clips from SA2 (I like to call it Sonic Adventure Battle 2). This also includes all the UNUSED voice clips as well.
You don't know how much I love David Humphrey as Shadow's voice actor. He was the true Shadow the Hedgehog in my book. He gave Shadow emotion, care, hate, deceitfulness, sass, cunning, love, sadness........sorry I ramble on when it comes to this.
Also this is the only Shadow to make me squee when I hear his voice, as well as the only Shadow that made me cry. Jason Griffith was not bad as Shadow but didn't give Shadow justice to his previous being. Jason made Shadow sound like an angsty Eeyore with constant identity issues and was very confused. EVEN IN Sonic Heroes where Shadow is uncertain of himself, David pulls of the role and still proves that Shadow is Shadow, not an android, not a fake, not a clone. Not to mention the thing I hated was when Shadow would talk a bit higher and he would sound like Sonic, same goes that if Sonic was too dark or deep it sounded a bit like Shadow (as Jason Griffith). As for Kirk, he does him pretty well. He is imitating David's style but he sounds a bit too...."snakey / seductive / flamboyant", if you get what I mean. I do like him better than Jason though so far.
Either way I suggest you listen to the clip, it may be long but it is so friggin epic. It brings back so many memories.
SAB2 was actually the game that truthfully got me started/interested in Sonic. (The comics were actually what got me interested first but game wise it was this game.)
Long live Shadow the Hedgehog.
