Have been reading Alison Weir’s biography of Elizabeth of York. She was the daughter, sister, niece, wife & mother of kings. Henry VI married her to finally unite the houses of York & Lancaster under the Tudor rose. She faced such terror growing up under the scheming Richard III. I’d like to think she thought of Henry as her white knight who saved her from an awful tyrant. Apparently, they did love each other very much. I wonder how much he thought of Elizabeth as he fought for the throne. For some reason, I picture Adian Quinn as Henry from Looking For Richard. I feel like she’s kind of overlooked - overshadowed by the queens during the War of the Roses & the queens that would marry her son, Henry VIII.
