The picture above is by Samuel Stone on a website called Unsplash. It’s free downloads and I use it quite often in my Facebook blog @Goodjourneying.I love this picture. After reading the quote down below, my mind wonders to the two little deer and I see the bigger picture in our lives; to surrender self to God or do fight against what I know to be true for something I think might be better. Creating any kind of art is like that. Do I surrender to the spirit of creating and go where it leads me? Or do I fight against the flow of creativity to try and force a project to be what I want it to be. If you work long enough with clay or material, you may find as I have, it has a memory and a will of its own. Trying to force it instead of working with it will always end badly.

"...he that sacrifices to God his will, by obedience, gives to Him all that he has, and can say: Lord, having given you my will, I have nothing more to give you."
