no but really: dracula/vanessa

when I started shipping it if I did: the moment when dracula went “someone has to care for all the shunned creatures of the night” i was like... oh no....

my thoughts: oh man like i tolerated ethan and vanessa in the way you kind of have to tolerate the obvious endgame ship but ethan and vanessa’s relationship with others to be infinitely more fascinated and compelling and MAN imagine it the hades and persephone of penny dreadful it could have been so much

What makes me happy about them: the sort relief vanessa felt when she was with dracula, both when she didn’t know who he was and when she did. how good it felt for vanessa to finally have someone who never asked her to performance to a higher moral standard

What makes me sad about them: W E L L

things done in fanfic that annoys me: there isn’t enough

things I look for in fanfic: fix-it fics

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: vanessa and ethan were endgame so it’s not like it pd hadn’t continued on for another season dracula wouldn’t have died but whatever
