ACT II SCENE III
Now that the deed has been done, the hardest part will be playing innocent to not be caught. Although the servants, his son’s, and Macduff don’t know of any intention of mine to do something as so, Banquo was there when the witches were telling me of what I could be one day...could I be overthinking or will i have to get rid of all evidence of myself involved in this action. Macduff and Lennox were talking about how they suspected the son’s Malcolm and Donalbaine since they didn’t speak much after the murder which was very suspicious in itself. As i brought Macduff to Duncan’s room, Lennox said something to me that will stick with me, and to my death will haunt me.. “ ...strange screams of death, and prophesying, with accents terrible, of dire combustion and confused events new hatched to th’woeful time.” (Act II Scene III ) This stuck with me because that night was all those at once, and for me I do not believe it is something I will ever be able to get over. Since the deed it done, there is nothing else for me to do but go forward with this prophecy, and see it through that I will be Thane of Cawdor one day.
