Mardi 25 mars 2025 dans l'Est de la France,  deux Alpha Jet de la Patrouille de France se sont percutés lors d'une répétition. Les deux pilotes et un passager ont pu s'éjecter et ont été retrouvés conscients.

Zuko sat in his room after the healer had left, his mind still trying to process what he'd been told.

He was pregnant.

He was pregnant with Jet's child.

His breath caught, elation and fear warring inside him. He and his Alpha had created a child! But his Alpha was Earth Kingdom, his Alpha wasn't here, his Alpha hated him. He was alone. His father... his father would kill him. Kill his baby.

A sob, sorrowful and wretched, made it's way out of his mouth. Another followed after and his body curled over as he let himself cry. What had he done to deserve the life he fought through?

Once the tears subsided Zuko thought critically of what he needed to do. The patch would hide his scent for a few months, he'd double up just to be extra cautious but once he started showing... once he started showing he would have to leave. There was no other option. If he wanted his child to live it was the only way.
