This Goofy goofball knows exactly how to court. He gives me soft alpha/strong beta vibes. And he learned from Makino the ways to court long ago.
HOWEVER that being said, he also likes making you laugh. Courting gifts when it was just a crush were often goofy and maybe small inside jokes, or even mini pranks.
Like a cupcake with sour flavored icing, still good but not at all what you were expecting. Boy did he giggle and laugh when your face puckered up with confusion.
Once he realizes these feelings are here to stay, or if you take initiative and heavily hint or gift him something. Then he gets sincere and downright smitten and soft
I hope you like the color orange, because he thinks you look so cute in the fuzzy luxury fur blanket with orange silk lining. Yes the fur has been dyed orange to match as well and you stick out like a sore thumb on this winter island but you're warm!
He is much more of a simple gift kinda guy, first sign is him not just sharing his food with you but getting a plate and filling it for you before looking after himself.
He long ago memorized your favorite food
He uses his devil fruit as a gift for you as well…yes in his mind warm hugs or warm handed deep tissue massages count as courting gifts. They're a promise from him to you he will take care of you forever if you allow him.
He has never understood collecting shiny rocks, seashells, and the like…until now. Something about courting makes every exceptional seashell and rock extra special now and if he thinks theyre pretty he will pocket them to give to you later.

He's much more of a physical show rather than buying gifts. So his presents may not be noticed immediately.
Giving you rides in his flame boat (he has to carry you so his flames dont set you on fire and boy does he love carrying you now)
Insisting on being the one to be paired up with you for anything and everything. From crew game night, to exploration parties, to mission assignments, even to his previously hated cleaning duties.
Soft touches, on your waist, your hand. To help you get across a large gap (if he doesn't just pick you up). To reassure you if you’re expressing a moment of doubt/trouble. When he thinks your smile is especially bright and he just needs to touch your cheek to ensure you’re real.
Or to push you behind him in times of danger or conflict, yes you can take care of yourself BUT he wants to be your support and fighter. He is first to cheer you on in a fight, but if he can prevent a needless dangerous encounter he will put himself in front so any animosity is directed at him not you.
When he realizes you might want clothes, or scented items he goes to Marco.
He understands the process, he gets how to scent something. However he wants his brother figure and the very honest bestie to help him judge which ones are best. He doesn’t want to over scent something and have it be oppressive. And he knows he’s rough on clothes so he’s making sure the things he’s giving you are good quality still so they’ll last as long as you want to keep them.
He also gives you a nickname, you’ve always had one but it was more of a teasing best friend kind of thing. Suddenly you have a much more dignified and polite nickname…its also a very classic 50’s romance sort of nickname like Doll, or Pumpkin, or Kitten…or Angel
Okay he’s alpha, if that wasn’t evident from his emperors haki and being captain etc
Unlike his brother he is dumb…very dumb. Has never cared about courting a day before in his life. Used to say “EW” and stick out his tongue (even at 16)
He doesn’t even realize at first that the things he is doing is courting when he first starts. Probably because he doesn’t realize at first that he has feelings for you.
Robin did from day one, Zoro did maybe the first week, Sanji had suspicions too after a month or so, and the others later feel like they should have seen it coming since he constantly talked about how mouth-watering you smelled and loved to cling around you and just burrow in your neck to snuffle you. He learned not to nip when Nami yelled at him for it the first day he met you. Like I said the others feel they should have seen this sooner.
Giving you bits of his food, scenting you, constantly asking to hold your hand, and giving you every single cool thing he sees for you to “keep safe” but if you try to give them back he’d “no thanks you keep them!” then laugh and bounce off
Unlike what anyone would have expected Luffy figures out his emotions for you very quickly. It didn’t take Robins hints to him, he knew after you all finally got in a large altercation together against the world government or some pirates. He was always protective of his nakama, but before the enemy could land the devastating blow to your back in the battle. Luffy was screaming in rage. Bounding across the battlefield to you to protect HIS friend. His…ohhh…
He talked to Robin and Nami, they advised him on courting and how to make you his. He only grasped 30% but he’s trying
He would make the ship go broke in order to buy you every cool thing, or every soft nesting thing, or all the food you could eat.
The king of bringing you random plucked wildflowers (several have been confiscated by Chopper as they were poisonous plants, Luffys eye for weird things haven gotten the best of him)
They're messy but he learns to make flower crowns for you both to wear. Talks about making them for your future kids
He didn’t used to own much clothing, but now he is expanding his wardrobe just so he can have more things that smell like him to wrap you up in.
You have exclusive hat permission, don’t abuse it but if you ever ask him, he does not mind putting it on your head for a while
He thinks you look so good in it too, makes him puff up his chest and yell to the world how awesome you are.
He has bought you one very nice present, one he had to work his butt off to get. Literally, Nami made him get a job on an island to pay for it and he was actually sincere while working there (sorry Baratie).
It's a unisex gold bangle bracelet with a red ruby with your and his initials engraved in the gold along with the date you joined his crew (because yes he remembers the date perfectly)

'Garp-san please calm down!' Koby asks. 'Calm down?!?!? That Sengoku has got to be making fun of my face!' Koby cringes as Garp angrily paces all over his office continuing his monologue 'An omega? They really want to give me an omega? I'm almost 80 years old! Who expects me to get an omega now?'

'Garp, the government has decided to give you an omega' Garp bursts out laughing, but stops at Sengoku's serious look 'That's not serious, is it?' Sengoku sighs 'The government wants to do something about your family history' Garp raises an eyebrow 'What about my family history?' 'Is that serious Garp? Your son is Dragon the revolutionary and your grandson is Luffy the straw hat. The government wants their top brass to have a family to show for it, but regarding yours they have always tried to hide such relationships. With what happened in the war they can no longer try to hide it, their solution is to give you an omega and show that you are starting over. Akainu asked me to talk to you and we both know that is not a choice Garp. They will send you the omega soon'

Garp sighs in exasperation, he already had an omega, he didn't need or want another one. 'Maybe they'll get along' Koby argues in an attempt to calm him down. Garp sighs again. 'Why didn't they decide to give the poor boy an omega instead?

Y/n tries to hold back her tears and calm her breathing, in her current situation she didn't know whether or not to be thankful. On the one hand she had gotten out of that disgusting omegas storage, on the other she was in heat, handcuffed and helpless in a room in which at any moment the alpha she was assigned to would enter, force her to mate with her and mark her. Okay, her current situation was definitely worse.
But if this idiot alpha thought she was going to give herself to him just because she was in heat he was very wrong. Y/n spent years in government omegas storage, but unlike most omegas there she never gave up. Not even now, she wouldn't let some idiot alpha claim her as his own, she belonged to her mate and him alone.
Taking a deep breath she tries to form a plan. The alpha would probably be very full of himself like everyone else, he would remove his handcuffs finding it ridiculous an omega in handcuffs as if she was dangerous, that would be when she would get her chance. She was surprisingly much stronger than what you would expect from an omega, even a beast and she could tell that strength was only growing stronger and stronger. Using the handcuffs she could handcuff him and escape. Was it a plan with a lot of "what ifs"? It was. But she wasn't going to give up without a fight. In fact, as a final plan she was going to throw herself against the mirror and use her shards to cut her marking spot so that it was no longer possible to leave a binding mark on her. To her that was preferable to being marked by another.

Garp starts pulling towels and pills out of the box and can see the confused look on the omega's face. He leaves and returns with one of the towels already damp, pulling a chair close to the bed he sits down and offers the omega a glass of water and some pills. It was surprisingly easy to resist her scent in heat, if he was being honest even if it aroused a certain protective instinct he didn't feel the slightest urge to jump on the omega.
Surprisingly it took a year to arrive, he even thought they might have changed their minds, but no. Garp grits his teeth as he reads the letter that was left on his desk, apparently his new omega was waiting for him in his room and he was given a week off, he knew his methods well, she was definitely in heat. He sighs as he enters the room with a box which he soon sets down near the bedside table. He quietly watches the omega on his bed growl at him.
Again, was this for real? A beast? He had already found his mate so what was the point of giving him a beast? Even more one that had obviously just reached maturity? She was what? Eighteen years old? She could be his granddaughter! Did the government really think it was good for his image to have such a young mate? But having an idea of his reserves she was probably one of the oldest.

Y/n watches as the alpha sighs in exasperation at her refusal to take the pills. He was strange, very old, and very indifferent to her vulnerable state, if only because she didn't feel her heat affected by his scent either. 'Right. I guess I can let you go first.' Her ears perk up at those words and she prepares to run away. As soon as the alpha lets her go she runs towards the door, but a moment before she opens it she is being pulled by the alpha. 'YOU IDIOT PIVET I'M NOT MARKING YOU EVIL!!!' He shouts sticking a punch and leaving a high on the omega's head (imagine how he does to Luffy).
Bringing her hands up she screams angrily 'I'VE DONE IT YOUR OLD IDIOT!!!' 'IS WHAT?!?!' Y/n turns her back on the alpha and can hear him sighing and repeating swear words to try and calm himself down 'Before we talk please take these' he again offers the pills to the omega who looks at him suspiciously 'They are suppressants to relieve the heat. I don't want to have some stinker jumping on me while I'm talking' snatching the pills and water out of his hands she takes them quickly before speaking 'As if I'm going to throw myself at an old man like you!'
For an omega that wasn't even marked she sure had plenty of strength to challenge an alpha as she did. Garp explained to her why she had been given to him and put her to rest by saying he had no intentions of touching her much less mating with her. He told her he intended to keep her for appearances and keep her from going back to where she had come from, the conversation was going well and she agreed with everything until Garp mentioned that he should mark her as part of the facade.
'No' 'How could you not?' 'No. I already have an alpha and he will be the one to mark me' 'You already have an alpha?' Garp asks confused 'Yes' Y/n maintains an offended posture at his proposal 'And who is this alpha?' 'I don't know' 'HOW DON'T YOU KNOW?' 'Because I don't know him yet!!! But my mate is definitely out there and I will find him. So yes, I have an alpha, but I don't know who'
Again, for an omega, let alone one in heat, she would not even flinch at an alpha. Could it be that her conviction was so great that she already had an alpha?
'We can wear makeup then' 'Makeup?' 'Yes’.

After that she and Garp eventually developed a good friendship and were able to enjoy each other's company. For some reason that they were both thankful they felt no attraction to each other, this made everything much easier. Their relationship became very strong and Garp was a sort of father figure to Y/n. They told Koby the truth and he was the one who ended up doing the makeup to fake the union mark on Y/n. Garp was glad that Y/n got along with Koby and Helmeppo, the three of them eventually forming the trio even training together.
For the rest of her heat Y/n let Garp take care of her, bringing her food and pills, controlling her fever and preparing baths for her.
One day during a break from one of her training sessions she told them both where she was before she came to belong to Garp, and as an alpha Koby promised that she would train hard to be worthy of an omega and be able to take one from there and further on who knows even have enough influence to abolish such a system. That little promise from the younger alpha made Y/n's heart warm at the thought of it.

'Luffy?' Y/n asks curiously 'Yes, he is my grandson and a big part of the reason you are here' 'Then I must remember to thank him when I see him' Y/n laughs ' Luffy...' She whispers thoughtfully and Garp looks at her with a questioning look 'It's a nice name' Garp snorts 'It would be nicer if it wasn't on a wanted poster' 'I suppose' She laughs.

Now after a year Y/n was able to defeat both Helmeppo and Koby, that fact worried Garp putting him wondering who the omega's mate was, knowing full well it wasn't either of the admirals. Koby was not weak, on the contrary he had recently been promoted to captain which made Garp very proud.
During that year Y/n heard a lot from Koby about Garp's rowdy alpha grandson, he seemed very amusing, but at the same time he was serious and very convinced of his ideals. She smiles at the thought that in a way they were alike.
Now she was sitting in Garp's office reading a book while the alpha puffed and huffed at whatever was in his hands. When she finally diverts her eyes from the book and asks 'What's going on?' He tosses the sheet and mumbles even more annoyed as Y/n puts the book aside and stands up to pick up the paper from the floor 'That Luffy stinker as if it wasn't enough to disappear for two years now he shows up in Sabaody and starts causing a ruckus right away' Garp waits for an answer but it doesn't come. Faced with silence he turns to look at the omega. She is standing there with wide, glowing eyes as she looks at Luffy's wanted poster in her hands.
Garp's eyes widen 'shit' he whispers. A moment later and he can see a wide smile stamped on her face as she walks over to him slapping her hands and the poster on the table 'Vovo' 'Oh no...' One word, one look, the look of conviction he had seen so often in Luffy and Garp was already desperate
Now then, this alpha baby gumgum drop button over here…so many people think he would miss the signs at first. And perhaps he’d miss that you are slightly quieter than normal. Or that your sneezes are a bit more frequent. Maybe even that you slept in way later than you normally would have.
EXCEPT this man is enamored with you, and one of his favorite things is burrowing his face into your neck to take deep breaths of your scent.
The moment you get sick your scent betrays it, and his frown shows he has noticed before you even feel any symptoms. Thus despite you having assured him you are okay Luffy is secretly on guard.
Its not obvious to anyone really unless like Robin they analyze every bit of his body motions.
He has a hand or arm around or on you at all times
Constantly checking his volume isn’t too loud for you with subtle glances
He is paranoid a little and keeps snuffling your throat far more than usual
Once your symptoms hit he is wrapping you up in his arms and carrying you quickly to Chopper. All previous consideration for his volume level gone as he screams for the medic and for Nami.
He holds your hand the entire time (unless you and Chopper allow him to wrap himself around you like a boa constrictor. Clinging out of worry and need to protect).
If its to soon to tell what you have he gets slightly distressed. He doesn’t want to wait for you to possibly feel worse in order for you to be able to get treatment. His whining will know no ends
If they do figure out what is wrong he for once will listen to every word Chopper says and try to stick to them to a T in order for you to get better
If Chopper mentions a warmer climate or cooler climate will do you good he instantly commands Nami to find the safest path to such a climate asap
Yes safest, the need to ensure you can properly rest, swaddled up in your nest out of a possibly dangerous path is tantamount to him
He does leave your side often. To spare with the others or check with Chopper if there's anything else he can do for you. His boundless energy needs to be let out, but the minute he feels he can he rushes back to you for snuggles
You have never smelled more like Luffy a day in your life
He is constantly nuzzling and scenting you to assure you of his presence and care.
Nothing will stop him from this unless it causes you actual pain (maybe the illness gave you sensitive skin)
He understands that you need a certain diet of food too to get stronger and he’s trying to understand it. Hounding Sanji to make you “CHICKEN SOUP WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF GINGER CHOPPER SAID BLAND FOOD AND LOTS OF THINGS LIKE GINGER AND TUMURIC-”
Thank gods for Sanji, because Luffy doesn’t in his panic comprehend that putting five pounds of fresh ground ginger into the soup would in fact make it not bland
Overall Luffy is very tender and loving. He looks like a lost puppy the entire time you are sick and tries to talk quietly for you even if you say it's okay to make noise.
He doesn’t get sick with you but goodness if he doesn’t feel awful seeing you suffer
GOD FORBID someone outside the crew/pack gets too close to you during this time. Luffy will either knock them out with his Haki or if they withstand that, the savage alpha growl that leaves his chest and the look of murder in his glowing eyes will have them peeing themselves
This happy-go-lucky Alpha? His professional smile falls immediately
The guilt of holding you in his arms nearly crushes him. Heart sinking into his toes as he gently cradles you into his chest, rushing you back to your shared nest. Gloved fingers suddenly bared as he blames himself for your current state.
He is so tender and gentle regardless of how well or bad off you are. This isn’t like when you get wounded in battle, this hurts him in new unforeseen ways.
His scnet muddled with worry as he whispers soft promises to make you feel better as quickly as he can.
Sabo’s mind is full of self doubt and blame. Maybe if he was home more, or if he hadn’t taken you on that mission to the Icy Plains of the Northern Isle. But he just feels this is all his fault for being far too busy all the time. Maybe he would have noticed sooner and been able to stop it before this point if he had paid a bit more attention?
Even if you assure him it's not his fault. These things just happen sometimes he is still frowning fingers trailing gently down your cheek, he doesn’t recall getting sick like this, that is after he Ace and Luffy learned how to cook and no longer gave themselves food poisoning.
If you are ill with something he doesn’t know how to treat then he will enlist Koala and Dragon. Not one or the other both, you are too important to risk any more details being missed or possible treatment options.
He is so delicate when he treats you, loving to hold you in his arms as he helps you bathe. And no you can’t talk him out of this, it's his way of atoning for not noticing sooner.
The best food and medicine he can get his hands on will be yours. He curls around you and watches you rest, ensuring you are comfortable and his soothing scent is right here for you whenever you want a whiff.
He doesn’t scent you too much, he doesn’t want to rub all over you and jostle you.
However, if you ask him he will push his scent out and tuck your face into his neck right against his glands. There is never a moment before this that his scent ever smelled so tender.
Koala took several photos before his growls turned into fiery glare and she ran away.
He does still ask her for help, calling it an equal exchange for her snooping. She’s a good friend and does take on a huge chunk of his work so that he can be with you.
She and Hack are both secretly glad, because even though he’s fretting he is also finally getting some rest

(This starts when the fake straw hats are in Sabaody and just before the real ones show up)
Garp got the information that the straw hats were in Sabaody before everyone else, he doubted even Akainu knew already, it was a hard decision for him but he knew that if he didn't help her she would flee on her own.
Y/n had anxiously arrived at the archipelago ignoring Garp's plan and beginning to search for Luffy. The bracelet signifying that she belonged to the navy caused many to turn away from the omega, those who didn't certainly regretted having judged her helpless.
When she finally found "the straw hats" she couldn't help but growl, fake. That was not her Luffy. The funny guy posing as her alpha still tried to approach her, it was sad how many alphas didn't even seem to look for their mate anymore. He was furious when she refused him, but he didn't have much time to barf before she hurled him towards the sea.
These straw hats might not be the real thing, but they would certainly turn up, Y/n then decided to follow Garp's plan. When she finally found their ship it was protected by a gigantic man who spoke robotically. Surprisingly after looking at her for a moment he stepped aside and allowed her to enter the ship.
Happy that everything worked out, she searches the ship for an empty barrel, puts the letter Garp had given her on the lid and then slips inside. Now all that was left was for them to arrive, something told her it wouldn't take long.

Y/n wakes up as the barrel lands hard on the ground, among the smells one in particular tells him that Luffy is outside and her tail starts wagging involuntarily.
'What is this Franky? It smells really good I bet it's meat!' Luffy asks starting to sniff the barrel with water in his mouth 'I don't know, but here. There's a letter for you and it says it's from your grandfather' Franky says handing him the letter that was on the lid of the barrel.
'If anyone asks you kidnapped her you hear me? Don't bring me any more trouble you stink and do yourself a favor and enjoy what your dear grandpa gives you' short and simple.
'Her?' Robin asks and Nami looks at her with the same question 'Her the meat' Luffy replies, everyone looks at him skeptically and before he can open the barrel Nami yells at him to stop. Everyone falls silent and a rhythmic noise can be heard inside the barrel 'I-is it a bomb?' Nami question and both she and Chopper and Ussop walk away 'My grandfather wouldn't send me a bomb' Says Luffy still eager to open the barrel.
Luffy turns back to the barrel, before he can do anything it is opened and from inside jumps a person. Y/n jumps out of the barrel and leaps at Luffy hugging him. Luffy is knocked to the ground wrapping his arms around Y/n's waist on instinct.
As the whole crew looks shocked Y/n smiles with her tail wagging uncontrollably fast 'Hey' says Luffy as he looks at her 'You're not meat, but you smell a lot better than that' he laughs burying his nose in her neck to better smell her. She laughs back as the rubbing of his hair on her neck makes her itch. After a moment Luffy pulls away from her neck to look at her and adds 'And prettier' Y/n blushes terribly and with a silly smile hides in Luffy's chest as he laughs and sniffs her neck again, right where her scent gland is.
Both were very oblivious to the stares of the crew who were beginning to realize what was going on. Only when Sanji shouts 'HOW CRUEL THE WORLD CAN BE! NOT ONLY DOES HE END UP ON WOMEN'S ISLAND, BUT HE ALSO FINDS HIS MATE'. Luffy looks confused at the crew and back to Y/n 'Mate?' Y/n smiles and waves to Luffy.

After that scene the crew explains to Luffy that she was his predestined mate and that was why he liked how she smelled so much. They also explained about how Luffy could get stronger by having her by clarifying to him the dynamic of mates being each other's strength.
Lastly they made it clear that Luffy should bite her to claim her as his and no other alpha should try to steal her. To which Luffy responded with a growl hugging tighter the omega he still hadn't let go of since leaving the barrel 'She's mine'.
'We know Luffy but you have to mark her so everyone knows about it' Luffy thinks for a moment before turning to Y/n 'Then you also have to mark me shishishi so no one can try to steal me'
The idea of omegas marking alphas was relatively new and given how little information Luffy had on the subject the crew could guess that he genuinely thought of it as logical.

The entire crew was amazed at how easily Y/n and Luffy fit together they always went together and even training Zoro could firm that they were a frighteningly powerful duo. Such power could be seen clearly in the battle of fish man island where Luffy and Y/n's huge black wolf caused terror.
Luffy was still childish as always but there was a serious and caring side that was exclusively directed at Y/n. Chopper wanted to examine him the first time he wanted to share his food with her, but it quickly became a habit.
Luffy rarely wanted to share the omega with anyone claiming it was 'his' and to tell you the truth the crew thought the scene was quite cute. Most of the time Luffy sat on Sunny's head with his chin resting on Y/n's head which rested against his chest. He loved the smell of her.
Overall Luffy was a surprisingly good alpha, did she want fluffy things for the nest? A huge pile of blankets pillows and stuffed animals were in their room the next time she walked in. Did she want cuddles? Luffy was always there glued to her, from simply hugging her to tickling her or covering her from head to toe with his scent. Was she uncomfortable with any other alpha? Actually, it never came to that because even if he seemed distracted he made sure to send his gaze to any alpha who dared to look at his omega for more than he should.
The funniest part was when her poster came up and the whole team found that just like in Luffy's the picture was not in the least bit scary. In fact, it was a picture of her laughing after Luffy had put his hat on her head something he quite liked to do as according to him it was easier to protect all his treasures if it was all together. Sanji and Zoro were defeated that she had a 250million reward thus being larger than both of them.

Luffy was happy to have Y/n by his side even though he had told Hancock he would not marry if it was Y/n he would be sure to make her his pirate queen.

(After Luffy defeats Kaido and the Straw Hats leave Wano)
(What will happen is totally taken from my imagination and does not follow the manga)
After leaving Wano the Straw Hats decided to go to the island of the Kujas to offer them protection since Hancock was no longer a shichibukai. If it was before everyone was sure that Sanji would be delirious, but since Natsuko's arrival he remained serious and dedicated to the recovery of his omega.
After about a month of traveling they finally arrive at Amazon Lily and Y/n was eager to meet all the friends her alpha had made on the island. As soon as they disembark on the island Luffy is surrounded by a horde of women and Y/n laughs, there was no doubt that Luffy was adored.
'Luffyyyyyy!' a voice comes up and the crowd splits to let a woman through. Y/n tilts her head in confusion as the woman grabs Luffy burying him in her chest and starts pouring out loving names. She didn't like it, why was that omega so close to her Luffy?
Y/n follows with the crew while Luffy is led further ahead by the band of women, a few others stay behind and accompany them filling them with questions. In celebration of their arrival a large banquet has been prepared, Y/n tries to put aside that feeling, but every time she looks at Luffy that woman is touching him in some way. Couldn't she see that he was hers? No, unfortunately the cape Luffy was wearing accidentally covered the mark and it was bothering her tremendously.
Brook and Franky's conversation finally distracts Y/n from the scene, but perhaps it would have been better if it hadn't. They both comment on how beautiful the pirate empress is and when she questions them they explain that she is considered a goddess, an omega who due to her akuma no mi was not affected by the alphas, the most beautiful woman in the world and that all men fall in love just by looking at her. Again that feeling inside her stirred, Luffy was a man Y/n think looking at him. Was he in love with her too?
Shaking her head Y/n stands up, she needed to get some air.

Sitting on one of the slopes tears streamed down her face without even really knowing why, she had never felt this way before. Not even when she didn't know him yet had she doubted that she wasn't good enough for her alpha or if he wanted her, but now... Hancock was pretty? The most beautiful? So did that mean Luffy thought she was prettier than her too?
But she was his mate, she should be the one he thought was prettier. They were marked. That meant he couldn't trade her for Hancock, right?

Luffy was enjoying himself at the banquet when suddenly he stops making Hancock question him, his nose twitches at the absence of Y/n's scent and looking around he realizes that she is not in sight. He gets up and stops Hancock from following him by saying he'll be right out.
He follows his mate's scent only to find her crying. Luffy's inner alpha panics as he runs to her 'Mega' he calls out fondly holding her cheeks gently with his hands and making her look at him 'Who did this?? I'm going to beat the crap out of them!!!'
Y/n cringes and Luffy realizes he spoke a little rudely. Taking a deep breath he pulls her onto his lap purring to calm her down as she clings to him and cries harder 'P-please' 'What mega?' the alpha asks worriedly 'Don't trade me for the world's most beautiful omega' 'Ehhh?' Luffy asks tilting his head extremely confused 'how can I trade you for yourself?'
Blushing Y/n sniffles and wipes her tears 'It's not me. Everyone says Hancock is' 'I don't say that' Luffy says seriously and still very confused as he looks at the omega in his arms. Y/n laughs, for a moment she had almost forgotten that Luffy was just like that, always sincere, something she loved about him.
'Yeah right' she smiles and he returns the smile seeing her happy. The alpha holds her face wiping her tears away and kissing them before kissing her on the lips. Why was she so worried anyway? Luffy was her mate, the one who promised to love and care for her always and he always keeps his promises.
As they pull away from the kiss Y/n sighs hugging Luffy and burying her nose in his neck 'Sorry alpha, I guess that omega was just too close to what's mine' 'Hancock?' He asks and she nods still hiding in his neck 'But it's still yours' He laughs and she pulls away to nuzzle her nose against his 'Yeah right' Y/n pulls away looking a little at Luffy's hidden mark 'I guess she just couldn't see it'.
He is confused until he suddenly brings his hand to his neck and can feel the mark covered and frowns at not realizing that the mark he usually proudly displays was now covered. Stepping back a little he removes the cloak leaving the mark visible again 'Now everyone can see shishishishishi' Y/n laughs with him before he stands up and places his hat on her head extending his hand to her 'Shall we go back?' She agrees and they both walk hand in hand back to the banquet.

This time Luffy didn't let go of her, he brought her to his seat and sat her between his legs filling her with treats and giving her a taste of everything he considered good, meaning all the food.
Nami who had seen Y/n leave smiled as she saw the scene, at least in one thing her captain was not such an idiot. On the other hand, Hancock almost had a fit when she saw Luffy enter with Y/n 'Luffy, honey, who is it?' 'This is Y/n my mate' Luffy announces proudly. The older woman notes the already healed bond marks on both their necks and the kujas had to hold the empress to keep her from falling n the ground.
All the women perked up upon hearing that Luffy had a mate and buried them in questions very excited to meet her.

In the distance Hancock watched the scene with anger and childish tears in his eyes. Grandma Nyon sighs at the behavior of the current empress 'I warned you it would go wrong. You already knew you were not his mate.'
