Tori: There was something supremely energizing about being alone surrounded by woods. Nothing but the smell of earth and a subtle breeze, well along with the few dummies she had set up for target practice. On her nights out she frequently found herself at the bald spot in the woods, a place that she and Owen often used to brush up on their aim. And even though she’d severed all ties with her former partner in crime, the little spot still held some sense of familiarity that was too comforting for Tori to pass up. After a small trek through the woods, she found the secret place, untouched and just as she’d left it. Sighing as she unzipped the small duffle that she’d brought along, the brunette withdrew a simple 9mm, marveling at the gunmetal under the darkening sky before she stood up to fire off a few test shots and the dummies a distance away. Not long after she begun she could’ve sworn she heard footsteps nearing her direction, causing her to stop. After everything that happened with Drew she was more on edge than ever, and this notion alone prompted her to raise her weapon, “Who’s there?” she called loudly, “You’ve got three seconds..”
