My new postcard, featuring my own very special brand of Shadoks : the Shadoks from Alsace !!

The Shadoks come from a series of the 60s, and are very, VERY stupid birds. It's a classic here, and I adore them. You can watch the whole thing on Youtube !

✿ アルザス風シュークルート | Choucroute Alsacienne ・クミンやジュニパーベリー、ローリエなどの香辛料と一緒に塩漬けにし、一週間程度発酵させた千切りキャベツを白ワインで煮込んだ料理です。一般的にはハムやソーセージ、ジャガイモを付け合わせしますが、白身魚やエビ、ガチョウを付け合わせにしても美味しく、バリエーション豊富な料理です。味は酸味があり、白ワインやビールにとてもよく合います。
