#my personal opinion is that he isn't actually as callous and unaffected as the quoted line would suggest#I think he demonstrates more of an emotional reaction to it elsewhere and that in that bit he's putting on a bit of a front for superman#but he can in fact have another princess another child that fills her role because#especially considering she was still a baby#he wasn't attached to the specifics of her as a person#and was more attached to what he wanted her to be the role that he expected her to fill#but I think if she was older that while it would be a bit more complicated that he would still make the same decision#also this dummy#brainiac 2.5#really thought he could get away from#brainiac 13#by hiding in the body of#lena luthor II#which would force#lex luthor#to help him#not considering that he would still sell him out anyway#but also the fact that superman does get her back but doesn't in anyway make him pay like... buddy... did you forget#clark kent#dc#my posts#comic panels
