So this is the scene that sparked me writting that other post, basically Altavir has gone his entire life raised on the belief that his tiefling nature would only earn him scorn and rejection, and the best thing he can do is hide the fact. Then Act 1 goes down and it is kinda a nightmare scenario for Tav, but realizing he has no other option than look the way that he does he pushes through, and actually learns much about himself and what he wants. However, years of ingrained fears and self image issues don't simply dissapear and it all comes crashing down in Act 3. I just don't know how this conversation starts xDD like, I know what the most tense moment is (this) and how it ends (because it's Wyll he's telling this to, it will have a happy end. NO SARCASM).
I'm just not having luck with coming up with a natural way for the character himself to bring up the detail that he has been wearing a disguise his whole life, to the point that he sometimes doesn't recognize himself in the mirror. The angst and hurt/comfort is flowing, just not in the direction I want xDDD
You'll have news if I succeed in completing the whole scene, promise!
