Since we had the mold saga I'd like to introduce a mold thing hopefully not inspired by mold poisoning: [Freak] Outside's Fungal Lair. (Warning this is probably more infodump than horny)
TLDR for the relevant plot there's a THING outside that's transforming living things into eldritch horrors - including plants and mold - over the span of two weeks. Game takes place in an apartment in Montreal. If you like body horror, gore, and stories about the apocalypse bringing out the best in people I'd suggest checking it out. This is like the tamest area.
In the fungal lair, several people are trapped by a severe overgrowth of fungus and mold and it's your job as the player to save them. One of these people is a giant moth who joins your team to save his family, one is a bratty and stunningly autistic twink in a suit who offers to play copyright safe YuGiOh with you if you can find a starter deck (he's not sharing), one is a canon bear who does blacksmithing if you can find the materials for him, and the last one is a dorky and kinda awkward carpenter who offers to expand your apartment if you gather the materials for her. As you go deeper into the lair you collect several story progression materials lost in there only to come upon a giant fungal beast. This is what has been kidnapping and killing innocent bystanders. You slay it and finally rescue the princess.
Wait, princess?
Yeah all the people you "saved" are fungal thralls of her already (they all used to be human except the mothman who is pure fungus) and want you to get assimilated too. And they coax you into this by letting you play the big strong hero role and hoping you huff enough spores to hallucinate her as human and embrace her because - unlike them - she is pretty non-sapient (described in her special game over as a predator relishing its meal). Obvious forcemasc potential there, but also the thralls are pretty genderfucky too, specifically the bratty twink I mentioned earlier because while his human form presents as a classy gentleman, if you push him enough for him to drop the illusion his fungal form is shaped like he's wearing a high-fashion type dress (and also the bear and the carpenter lose all defining gender characteristics). I can see a scenario where the victim is a smaller, weak, insecure woman who enters hoping to save her friends who went missing, only to be praised as the perfect hero who's just so brave and strong and offered luxuries if "she" can just go save the rest of the people trapped here like the brave hero "she" is, only to be pushed over the edge into thrallhood by having it revealed to him that, while he will have to maintain his human form to lure in more prey, as a thrall he can have whatever body he desires (and also he can literally wear anything in human form. The two male victims were the electrician and security guard of the apartment respectively and you would not know that without a member of your party telling you).
I talk about it like it's a big area but it's like three rooms plus an entrance and the game showcase for it is exactly 30 minutes and most of it is showing off alternate dialog trees, the only reason people care about it is because you can force the "moth" to become a party member (thereby doing an XtM forcemasc because canonically he had no identity before the player forced the act on him under the pecieved threat of dying a second time). I don’t care, I'm hyperfixated, want to dom the hell out of the twink a concerning amount and think assimilation/transformation like that is hot. If it turns out there's also mold in my room/bathroom and that's why I'm so obsessed I'll give an update (we're getting the bathroom redone in like a week and my room is next so we'll know by then).
(@/undone-flesh-bindings in case we need the mold update/J)
no but its so crazy you mention this bc we were actually closely following look outside before it even released and paid for it like day of lol its a VERY good game with a ton of replay value our first run we didnt prevent the apocalypse but we also didnt have any unjustifiable killings so like??? honestly win tbh but i will want to go back in and make some messier choices on my next run as well and i wanna try a run without killing anyone if possible???
the fungal area was SUCH a trip tbh and yeah it has HUGE forcemasc potential tbh not just for the transformation reasons but the hallucinogenic ones as well forcemasc fungi but you fully believe what youre doing is warning away unsuspecting strangers to avoid the trap meanwhile youve been forcemasced against your will into a handsome charming man in order to sexually entice people to come in closer and even though in the back of your mind youre vaguely aware something is wrong the thought of having more people near you to bring you comfort and to keep you company is so deeply enticing and the mycelium network needs to feed you need to feed you feel the hunger pulling at whatevers left of your mind but you still want to believe that what youre doing is telling people to run away and avoid it all i actually am obsessed with that game for its body horror i am body horror transformation number one fan over here so so many of the tfs in that game are truly the best
forced mushroom thrall given the power to take any form is absolutely delicious and i feel like there are a lot more too to boot tho
forcemasc where youre taking your t shot under your skylight and get turned into a hideous malformed werewolf with needles for fur and giant pulsating veins under the full moon
