Alton: So what’s up?
Maevis: I want you to help Kai.
Alton left the house to start his new challenge. He walked into the barn and hugged Kai.
Maevis: So how’s college, big bro?
Alton: Pretty good! Now what’s with the small talk?
Maevis smiled at her brother knowing her so well.
Maevis: Let’s go inside.
Maevis ran outside of the house to the now approaching man.
Maevis: You’re here! You’re here!
Alton: Woah!
Alton: How are you doing, Kai?
Kai: Good…. why do you ask?
Alton laughs at his sister’s comment. Not truly believing it was true. How could he be the one that holds everyone together? However he realizes the lengths his sisters went through to save him, and he finds that he should do the same.
Maevis: Will you help?
Alton: Of course. Can you tell me what’s wrong first?
Maevis: Yeah! Sorry!
Kai: So what’d we get her?
Kasey: Only the best thing ever!
Kai: Can you be more specific?
Kasey: I called Alton! He’s coming home to celebrate!
Kai: Oh! She’ll love the surprise!
Kasey: I also forgot one tiny surprise.
Suddenly the whole family walks up the stairs.
Alton: You would have killed me, just like you kid your own sister’s boyfriend! HOW DARE YOU!
Kendra: How could I? Alton you’ve always been a disappointment.
Kai: I loved you, mom. BUT YOU TRIED TO KILL MY BROTHER, AND FOR THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MOTHER.
