Hello, everyone! Altarimun here with an update! I'm sorry that it's been so slow with restarting the comic, but I'm hoping that by Friday of next week, I'll be able to have something I can upload! I appreciate your patience and continued interest in the blog and story until then. <3

((Hey there everyone! Altrimun here with a little update!))

I unfortunately won’t be able to finish the next comic page by tomorrow as I ran out of time before the weekend, BUT I want to thank you all for your continued support and interest in the story!

I’ll be away all weekend and won’t be able to update BECAUSE I’ll be attending Bold Matsuri!

I’ll be tabling at A23, so if you’re interested in coming out and meeting me, getting some cute merch, and chatting about Pokeymonhearts, I’ll be around!

I’m also thinking of doing some pokeymonhearts merch at some point, so if you’d be interested in that, feel free to reply here or shoot me a message on tumblr!

Im so excited for this new story! If night and day are flipping between Scala Ad Caelum and Daybreak Town does that mean half the world *sleeps* or is in stasis while the other is active? Or is is some more complex mechanism...

Its so cool!

((The Dark and Light clans have been separated into these differing factions for generations, and the legendary pokemon in which they worship have dominion over one time of day or the the other (e.g. Night and Day). So followers of these legendaries have associated themselves with these times and specifically avoid contact with the rival clan due to past teachings and influences.

So while there is not forced "sleep" between the two states, societal pressure and established ways of life have caused them to become nocturnal/diurnal depending on where you were born. That isn't to say there aren't people from both clans who go against these teachings(You'll meet one soon enough), but centuries of expectations and lifestyle preferences have essentially isolated the two peoples.

UPDATE: HIATUS

I wanna say a BIG thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far with this comic! It’s been a labor of love to bring it back and challenged me as an artist and creator. I’ve pinned new tweet to the top of the blog for those who’d like to catch up/look into any backstory-And I have an official discord where you are free to discuss theories, share fanart, etc! I hope it’s been fun to experience and I’ll do my best to get back to it come October! For now, I rest. Stay safe out there!
