Land Rover Defender "Icarus" by Alu-Cab for Defender 110.
The weather is getting nasty, and I though it would be a good idea for us to do the same – if you can’t beat them, join’em, right? So, here is the Land Rover Defender Icarus to help us do just that. This can easily be considered one of the most outrageous camper conversions ever, and we have the people at South African company Alu-Cab to thank for that.
Jeremy Bergh and his team at Alu-Cab were dreaming about the ultimate off-roader, and decided to build it. The Icarus Defender is impressive, to say the least, considering it can accommodate two people quite comfortably, without compromising on storage space. The Icarus features a built-in tent, that opens in seconds and can be accessed from inside the camper, a fold-away stove, bright Lumeno lights inside and outside, as well as a fully equipped outside kitchen storage. It’s also worth mentioning that the Icarus conversion is available as a complete conversion, or in various parts – depending on your particular Defender and needs. So, the question now is: where are we headed?
