lay down your sword , and i'll lay down mine .
encounters are an amusing thing. throughout her journey, she has met many different people. some has left everlasting impressions on her, others have been fleeting, forgotten after minutes. yet, they have all been meaningful in some way, taught her a few thing, made her reflect on her own philosophy. in turn, hilda hopes she has left a similar impression on them.
the situation she finds herself in shows one of those moments. swords drawn, eyes pinned on each other and none of them seemed to give in any time soon. hilda was hoping her exhaustion was not showing as much as she felt it. the terrain an unfamiliar place to her, it had taken more energy out of her to keep from fainting, and she felt her magical powers were at its limits. after walking for what had felt like days, reality and illusion had started to blend. she was not sure of what, or who, she saw anymore. it had happened so fast, hilda barely had time to react, when the woman before her appeared. the golden sands had been a strain to her eyes, shining all around, like the eyes who were piercing info her own. it appeared to shine more as the time went by. you can't lose focus. her hand tightened around the hilt of her sword, its blade sharp in the sunlight.
“ i bring you no harm. ” the words leaving her lips far better than she hoped, the strain barely even noticable. a promise in the words, she still does not lower her weapon. “ i was just passing through. now, move. ”
