Hate And Love

Where I live most people are very judgemental and stereotype, they are very closed minded and don't like change even if it's for the better. From the age of 10 I've battled with depression, I had a bully in school that bullied me both mentally and physically. I went to my principal about it and even though he said he would make it stop nothing happened. I was bullied by the same person till grade 7. The only reason it stopped was because she moved away. During the time I was bullied I not only had depression but suicidal thoughts as well. It got so bad to the point where I almost committed suicide. In grade 7 when the bullying stopped I was still having issues with depression and suicidal thoughts, I still battle with it even today. When I got to high school I started getting bullied again, this time by guys who thought it would be funny to push their friends into me while I was walking by. At that point I started cutting myself. When my parents found out my mother told me if she ever saw me do that again she would put me in a mental hospital. I continued to do it in secret. In grade 11 and 12 the bullying didn't happen as often. I haven't cut myself since grade 10. I still battle with depression and sometimes suicidal thoughts. Even with all the happiness around me it's hard to overcome the depression when it's so strong. In a world where there is so much bad and hate I can see how staying positive can be difficult. What helps me sometimes is the little things that can distract me from the world, helping my grandma, watching my favorite TV show(Supernatural), my art, and just making people laugh. For me it's hard to tell my story because of all the bad that has happened to me but it also feels good to let people know that good overcomes the bad. Something good came into my life in high school and with her (my best friend) I would not be here today. #morelovelesshate #Supernatural #depression #AlwaysKeepFighting

I just got my Always Keep Fighting sweater. I was smiling when I got the notification from my post office that is was here. I was smiling when I picked it up, and on the whole way home.
