Huh. I know this series spoke yo me so fsr but....that line gave me chills. Ive tended to think of myself as a monster on some bad days and lately I've owned in some ways I am( mutaint/monster/metahuman , etc...ill go into it one of these days) . But still, I cried when reading that. And I don't know why.
