How could you end it like that? I want more of them being locked in the closet. Pleaseee... :)

Oliver frowns into her ponytail. (It’s honestly so crowded in here, but there’s still about half an inch between his back and the wall behind him.) (He prefers to be pressed up against her than the cold brick wall.) “No. I mean - I smell it, but I didn’t sniff it.”
She sidesteps to the left, brushes against him - his whole front - and he shuts his eyes, dropping his head back. “Is… Is that your phone?” Her voice is quiet and unsure.
“Yeah.” It’s in his coat pocket, and when she had pushed back into him earlier, the corners had dug into his hipbone. “Why?”
She laughs unsteadily, and he can’t decipher whether it’s relief or embarrassment he’s hearing. “Can you reach it?”
“Who would we call?” Six people in the world know about this place, and one of them is preoccupied with Thea, while the other is AWOL, most definitely planning her next attack on her father.
He feels her wobble and reaches out to stable her balance. He sucks in a breath when her hands brace against his chest. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” she breathes, and he can smell the smoothie she had earlier. Berries. Her forehead drops to rest on the top of his sternum. “I think I twisted my ankle.” Her knee - or at least he thinks it’s her knee - sweeps across his thigh and then he hears one of her shoes drop against the concrete ground before she shifts and the sound of the other hits as well.
When she straightens again, the top of her head is level with his chin, and his heart fills with a sudden rush of protectiveness over how tiny she is.
He’s getting restless just standing here so he carefully reaches out for the door to stretch his back and resist the temptation to bring her into his chest. The action ultimately traps Felicity against the door, but the darkness makes it easier to ignore the repercussions of how good it feels to have her this close. “How long do you think ‘til they let us out?”
“Who knows,” she murmurs, her hands sliding out to grip his sides and a foot he presumes that holds the ankle she twisted rests on top of his.
He sighs and drops his head forward, which brings his forehead to hers. If he squints and concentrates he can see the outlining features of her face. He thinks it’s beautiful that in this darkness, her strongest qualities shine brightest. The light seeming from the cracks along the edges of the door provides the light he needs to map out the tip of her button nose, and through the slight reflection of her glasses, he can see the whites of her eyes against her dark irises. His eyes drops down to her lips, drawing from memory the deep pink of her lips that look more like a dark shade of midnight blue in the dingy closet of the foundry.
“I still can’t believe they locked us in here.” They’re so close he can feel the vibrations of her words. Then she laughs lightly, and it’s warm and sweet and toying with the delicate rhythm of his heartbeat.
He smiles too. One day, they’ll have quite a story to tell. “Sara said she’d do something like this.”
Her head thunks back against the wood of the door. He can feel her frowning at him. “She told you she’d trick us into a closet together?”
Clearing his throat, he shakes his head. “Not exactly, just something along the lines of forcing us to…” Forcing you two into confronting your feelings for each other. God, Ollie, watching you two dancing around each other is killing me, was exactly what Sara had told him over lunch yesterday, but Oliver’s not going to tell Felicity that. Looking for something to distract himself, he slides a hand down to the doorknob and twists it. To his surprise, it turns easily, and he pulls Felicity toward him while pushing the door open.
Sara and Diggle are sat on the desk a few feet away. Their heads swivel at the sound of the door creaking open. The corner of Digg’s mouth lifts in a crooked smirk, Sara has her eyebrows raised as her face splits into a shit-eating grin, and both have their arms crossed.
He looks down at Felicity in disbelief, who has her head tilted back, eyes wide and mouth open in a rare moment of stunned silence.
Diggle chortles as Sara quips, “What were you guys doing in there for so long?”

i’m not accepting prompts right now. please don’t send me any. i hate that i have to resort to posting this on the rest of my posts
I'm so iffy about Felicity get a bf. Like I kinda want it, but then I don't. I wouldn't mind her dating and getting laid (Oliver getting all jealous), but a bf just seems like too much because she is in love with someone else. You know? I don't want the whole love triangle thing. It is the most annoying thing to happen on a show.
I agree with you to an extent, because I don't particularly want the whole love triangle thing. But I wouldn't mind her being with someone else and perhaps falling in love with him, although just because she's with someone doesn't mean she's going to instantly fall in love, you know? That could perhaps play a role if they decide to give her a boyfriend, that she just doesn't feel the same way about him like she does with Oliver.
I mainly just want her to have someone because I think it gives us an idea of what Felicity is like when in a relationship, we get to see Oliver's reaction to it (which will be like how he was with Barry, but on a wider scale), and I'd love to see her happy with her love life outside of Oliver for a little while (because they're obviously not going to put Oliver and Felicity together any time soon). I highly doubt it would last anyway, it would probably be like Oliver/Sara's relationship and only last for half a season at most. But I can totally understand why you'd feel this way. :)

Exactly. And in the end, although the suspicion was raised by Laurel, it's Felicity that orchestrated everything and gave the solid deal to Oliver. One extra point to Olicity lol
puzzledhats said: Now I’m going to be really disappointed in the show if they don’t do this. I love the idea of Felicity having Laurel’s back.
IKR?! Females supporting females (which we need more in this testosterone ruled show), plus Olicity. Oliver won't feel too bad because he didn't believe Laurel cause Felicity sweeped in and made everything better. Cause Felicity is the best as Oliver loves to point out.
alwaysforevermc23 said: She did believe her…maybe Felicity will get Oliver to believe her again too…and then we won’t have to go down this road where he will feel guilty that he didn’t believe her in the first place.
That too. It'll avoid so many unnecessary conflicts after we got rid of Laurel being Oliver's blind spot problem.

Don't worry about it. I know you want this so I'm sure you'll make it happen, just like Malta

My mom does the same thing, but I do it anyways. I know she doesn't want me to go to NY, but she won't stop me. She knows its my decision, she doesn't like it. I don't think it should stop you from going.

Why I like themI admire the determination and dedication it took to become a lawyer, as well as her work at CNRI. I like the way she loves her dad and has taken care of him the past several years. I loved her feelings for and relationship with Tommy Merlyn. I liked the way she forgave her mom in Episode 1x18: Salvation. And I liked some of her most recent behavior in Episode 2x09: Three Ghosts (i.e. being able to talk about Tommy, her concern for her dad, and helping Thea even after what happened with Moira's trial.)
Why I don’t like themLaurel often seems self-righteous to me. Or perhaps it's the way she is always vilified as an ethical superwoman. The pedestal she has ostensibly been placed on just drives me up a wall. I also dislike the wishy-washy relationship issues she has. She loved Oliver, she loves Tommy, she wants Tommy back and tells him she loves him, then Oliver suddenly becomes an obstacle to the man Laurel just claimed to love. The way Laurel blamed the vigilante for Tommy's death was also ridiculous, in my opinion.
On an acting basis, Katie Cassidy feels stiff and cardboard-like. I can't really feel for her character the way I can for the others. Except for three scenes (1x18 when she finds out her mom let Sara go, 1x23 when she's screaming for Tommy outside CNRI, and 2x03 when she realizes Tommy's death was partly her fault), I can't look at her expression or her words without feeling like the writers were/are preaching from a list of cliches and standardized phrase books.
Favorite episodeEpisode 1x16: Dead To Rights because it focuses so much on her relationship with Tommy.
Favorite season/movieI don't have one
Favorite lineI think one her best moments was when Tommy told her about Malcolm cutting him off. And her response was something along the lines of "You're going to be fine. In fact, you're going to be great."
Favorite outfitThe jumpsuit from 1x16 and the black dress from 1x17 OTPMerlance (Tommy x Laurel)
(Unless they give me someone who fits just as well. But it would be difficult to top Merlance.)
Favorite FriendshipJoanna de la Vega (I miss Joanna!)
Head CanonI can see her becoming the District Attorney in Starling City and making a difference like she tried to do with CNRI.
Unpopular opinionI guess one unpopular opinion might be that I ship her with Sebastian Blood (if he can reform).
A wishI wish for Laurel to be the reason Alderman Blood switches sides and reforms. I know the likelihood of that is probably zero, but I always have that one weird, impossible pair that I would totally go for. And I can't help it, I kind of like the guy. He's got an emotional depth that I am drawn to and I wonder how and why he became the man he is.
An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happenLaurel and Oliver.
