9. An intimate night alone with me

 The candles were, granted, quite a practical touch, since there weren’t enough light-bulbs to go around at the moment, but Maggie though that their warm, flickering glow also made things a little more romantic. She’d also managed to get a bottle of wine, which might add to the general effect.
