Lmao you can tell I got a bit lazy at the last one but anyways 🫡 more angst and sad bois under the cut

Nyx:

• Actually out of all of my characters I think Nyx is probably one of the most patient ones

• Not in the kind sense of the word but more as stubborn. He could be trying to decipher Darling's real type for a long time and not mind each escape attempt: at the end is all like a game between you two for him

• So in general, it's pretty hard to actually get him desperate or vulnerable

• The only times I can imagine him like that is when he goes a bit insane after trying and trying and trying to be Darling's type without any results

• Even worse if Darling was making him jealous hanging with someone else who he deemed as 'inferior'. I mean, why could they possible have that he doesn't? He's been trying so hard for you to like him!

• He pretty much snaps when you try to leave him at his most vulnerable state

• His mind is a tangled mess and feels a lot of unnecessary emotions he hates at once: frustration, insecurity, anger, jealously, incompetence, denial, desperation...

• If you try to leave him in that state, he'll interpret it as you discarding him aside, like when you sharpen a pencil so much till you can't anymore and you throw it in the trash

• When he gets so overwhelmed like that his vessel starts melting more like his true form but not quite, ending in a thing that keeps trying to look like a human...but not quite

• Of course, he'll never hurt you, you're still his owner and surely you're only confused...but it'll also be so hard to get him off you from now on

• Also say goodbye to whoever you were hanging with lately

• Imagine distorted voices at the same time in the dialogues :D

Alyseos:

• He always kept the well built facade of a trustable, kind, experienced and innocent healer who just wants to always keep you safe

• And really, he does!

• But what happens when you find out about how much of a depraved, disgusting and filthy person he actually is?

• One thing is you somehow breaking into his room and rummaging enough to find all the dirty old bandages, stained napkins, countless detailed schemes of your anatomy and a handmade shrine filled with insignificant mementos of you...

• Other thing is finding out about all the atrocities he did to people, how he secretely tortured your teammates and may have caused their death...

• But also somehow finding out about his true identity and who he used to be? A cursed fallen deity who got his wings chop off, who got greedy and tied your fate to his for the rest of eternity?

• In that moment he feels like floating, it's just a nightmare and your face of horror and disgust is just a hallucination that'll go away soon...right?

• He tries hard to breathe, even if he doesn't really need to, but the only things he's able to tell are real are the burning tears building in his eyes and the hammering of his heart banging his ears

• But worse part is if you decide to ignore him. Really.

• Everything coming from you is a gift he'll always receive with open arms, you're his god after all. But your silence and indifference? He feels like dying...even if he isn't able to

• He'll be crying his eyes out and clinging onto you, his eyes swirling with self hatred and desperation as he begs you to please acknowledge his existence in the slightest...

• It's up to you what you decide to do with him afterwards. He'll be accepting anything coming from your perfect hand

Lmao this is a concept I had in mind for a while now and idk if I developed it well but here we gooo

Warning: Cringe and inaccurate Greek Mythology. Fans of mythology pls don't kill me, i tried </3 Also wrote this at 4AM. More under the cut

• Death was lonely and depressing—Thanatos knew that better than anyone. It was his job, after all

• But out of all the souls he guided, why did yours catch his attention? The only one that glowed among all the dull ones

• He was supposed to bring you to the underworld—he knew that. But after seeing into your soul, so pure it touched even his almost non-existent one, he couldn’t understand why you deserved that fate. The thought of you reincarnating as some insect made him...sick

• Thanatos could barely remember the moment he broke the divine laws for the first time, sailing your soul to a safe place where you could reincarnate in peace. He knew Hades would be pissed off, but did he really care at this point?

• So when he was condemned to cease to exist, to be replaced, he reached to where the souls in the Underworld were kept. And, in his last moments, he didn't doubt to break the divine laws twice. Thanatos saw the most alive chance, Asclepius' soul, and ate it hoping to survive the divine punishment

• The other gods were disgusted at his actions, more so that he dared survive and defy them yet again

• So...they banished him to the mortal plane, cutting off his wings and cursing him with immortality

• He lost his identity, his purpose, his place, everything he knew...After his sins, was he even the same person from before?

• He doesn't even remember when his obsession started, only the deep loneliness and longing that enveloped him for the next 1200 years. Even then, he swears your brightness was the only light he could see

• So when his prayers of finally meeting you again were answered, he didn't wait any longer

• Apparently, you were now an adventurer and made a good living out of it. He didn't hesitate to take use of his abilities and disguise himself as a healer. Alyseos alredy had some reputation in town for being able to heal the deepest injuries and even revive the death. Your guild, though hesitant, took him in

• You didn't understand why the others seemed so...intimidated? By him? But he was such a gentle sweetheart with you! Always making sure you eat your three meals and patching up your exhausted body...he may be worse than your mom

• Or, well, at least that's your impression ignoring the literal shrine and detailed anatomy studies of your body he's dedicated you in his room...

• Don't worry if you notice some of your teammates suffering weird pests or acting like zombies after a certain brain surgery...

• Did he mention he loves euthanasia? He could end your friends' suffering if it was too bad <3

• Just never get out of his sight...he might as well go crazy if he has to suffer another millennium without his god

Alyseos is the kinda guy to fuss over you when you get a paper cut, but when another person needs healing because of a broken arm or something he just look at them with disgust. Like...."is it that bad?😐"

But HE'S TOTALLY LIKE THAT yes. He's pretty much obsessed with Darling's body that even just a slight bruise or paper cut would mean the same as him using the best of his abilities to heal it until there's not even a skin shell left, and if Darling were to ever get very injured while he's there, he'd NEVER be able to forgive himself

Your teammates don't share that privilege tho 😔

How he deal with that?

WELL...Depends if that happens when 1. he first saw your soul as Thanatos or 2. later in your first reincarnation as Alyseos when he realizes that instead of an innocent adventurer you're showing sadistic tendencies (assuming all demon lords are evil lmao) oor 3. You've directly reincarnated as the demon lord

In 1° case, if he sees your soul tainted, he wouldn't intervene and instead just guide you to the Underworld, as your brightness was what caught his attention in the first place. If you become a demon lord in a part of the Underworld, he would be pretty much indifferent to it as he's just busy with his job and kinda works like a minion to his superiors, UNLESS you show some kind of favoritism to him.

In 2° case personally I think it's the most interesting one because corruption, angst and character development wow. At first he'd be a bit alarmed to see you sometimes not acting like yourself, thinking something's off. But after some time, if you just genuinely enjoy suffering, killing, etc, then he'd just give you all the reason in the world and still worship like a total god. He wasn't even in the best mindset to begin with and he's rather easy to manipulate, so for him your word is absolute. He'll gladly be your minion and help you with your sins if it means just being by your side a little more. He was considered a sinner for eternity, after all.

Then case 3°, similar to the second option but he'd be more hesitant. Even as he's kind of a psycho, unlike Nyx, he DOES still have some kind of moral compass, so you killing children or old people just for fun might tick him off a bit. Might require more convincing from your side, but for the most part he'll be trying to guide you back to a more 'healthy' path, trying to reshape you in the brightness you were and marked him.

Or case 4° you keep him as your laboral and sexual slave
