okay HOLD ON. i remember MULTIPLE POSTS (on diff socials) that tried to find a birth year for the prsk cast under the assumption that 2020, the game's launch year, was also the year in which the younger ones started high school, and the older ones started their second year. and all these posts made ena the eldest (correctly) and set her birth year in 2004. so i used that date as the starting point in my fic but bruh. it's wrong...
let's take ena as our main example since she's the eldest of all 20 original characters. if we assume she was in her second year of high school in 2020, she should have been born in 2003. that's because in japan you start elementary school after your sixth birthday. because school starts on april 1st and she was born on the 30th, she would be basically almost 7 years old by the time she starts elementary school. so if we decided she was born in 2004, that means she'll be 6 on april 30th, 2010. so, she'll start elementary school on april 1st, 2011 and finish 6th grade in march 2017. consequently, she'll start middle school on april 1st, 2017 and graduate in march 2020. that means she'll be a second year in high school apr. 2021 - mar. 2022...
pls correct me if im wrong because i have been listing dates for the past hour im losing it lol. bottom line is that if we assume ena was a second year in apr 2020 - mar 2021, she should have been born apr. 30th, 2003. right???
