Shepherd and Wolf (Closed - Amalie)
(starter for @decomposeyourself ) His soul felt cold, and empty - only barest amounts of soft fluffy dreams swirling in there. It felt absolutely horrid - an inscribed held powers of an Epithet ever since they were born, and felt it written in their soul, so to be without that felt...wrong. Like he was missing a key part of himself. Thankfully, the emptiness was not all-compassing at least, and seeing as he did still have the power to summon his Counting Sheep, he still had to take the time to take care of them and check they were okay after so much of his epithet had been taken. They were living beings, after all, despite being made from sleep dust, and a good psychologist valued the help they were given! It...wasn’t like he was using it as an excuse to pat their fluffy wool and feel slightly better, of course not. He was no child. He sat in the grass of a park-like area he had found in his inital wanderings of the place, though had not reckoned on the small fact that the scene of a literal sea of a herd of orange sheep surrounding him and patiently waiting to be brushed and pet was probably a very...unique sight. The herd leader, the single sheep with a ‘pompadour’ styled bit of wool, spied a tall stranger, and stepped forward with brash sheepish authority. “Baaa.” He was the leader! He should therefore look at and investigate a curious new person first. Sylvie blinked and diverted his gaze from brushing one of the other sheep. “Ah....curious. My sheep don’t usually go up to complete strangers like that - he must find something about you interesting, or was distracted by your approach...what brings you here?”
