Dear Carolyn Bryant (The Woman Covered in Emmet Tills Blood)
On January 27th 2017 you finally admitted to lying about Emmett Till’s whistle in 1955, you are now 75 years old and now you tell the truth. You got to live a long life. Be married , having children and grandchildren and great grandchildren but because of your lies Emmett Till didn’t get that same fate. You are not forgiven, you will receive no pardon from my people , no explanation will ever justify what you did, your apologies aren’t welcomed. Emmett Till was beaten until he was almost unrecognisable, because of the rotting flesh he was placed in a casket with a glass window. A mother would be placed in history books wailing at the site of her son. You will always be covered in Emmett Tills blood. On January 27th 2017 , A Man Was Lynched Today for the second time because of the lies that Carolyn Bryant told in 1955 , at the time of his death Emmet Till was just a boy , 62 years later we have a confession. - My
