the thing is with amaranth is that she wants very badly to be good. to an unhealthy point where she doesnt know how to deal with her escapism and how her idealism manifests negatively. amaranth has a lot of anger to express but shes used to expressing them through day dreams and escapism and not addressing them as a part of her own experiences. and theres praise. theres her own relationship to her own body. theres family relationships and who she wants to be perceived as. shes a very kind soul and i think itll be good for her when she sees how much her friends truly care for her
