"Happy, um, Valentine's Day, Little One. If it isn't to much trouble, I got you a gift."
“You did?” she asked, not expecting anything. “No, no, it’s no trouble at all Master, honest. I’m just… touched.”
"I wish you all the happiness in the world, Little One. But surely you know that..."
"Master..." she gasped. She looked up at him and gave him a soft smile. "Thank you..."
"Apprentice, could I ask for a hug?"
Seeing that her Master wanted a hug, she threw herself in his arms without even a word.
"Look I can imitate Master."

She nodded, not minding the small blush crossing her face, before moving closer to his arms, almost jumping into them. "Thank you," she murmured, sighing softly as she curled up against his chest. Whether by blush or his warmth or both, she was no longer feeling the bite of winter and slowly drifted to sleep.
