Amber with Seath Jackson (Victim) and her new boyfriend (The killer)
Piers Morgan interviewed Amber in prison in 2017.
Amber Wright is spending life in prison without parole for alluring her boyfriend Seath Jackson (15) to be ambush by her new lover Michael (19) The crime happened on April 17th 2011. Bargo got the death penalty on 2013 at age 21.
Seath Jackson was feeling hopeful when his ex girlfriend, 15-year-old Amber Wright, texted him to discuss potentially getting back together. The two had had an ugly breakup, with Seath allegedly cheating on Amber and hitting her throughout the relationship. After things ended with them, Amber began dating another male by the name of Michael Bargo, who despised Seath. On April 17, 2011, when Seath arrived at the home address in Summerfield, Florida, where Amber instructed him to meet her at, he was immediately ambushed by Michael and three other youths, including Amber’s stepbrother. First, they attacked him with wooden objects. Then, he was shot by Michael and placed in a bathtub where his knees were broken. When they saw that Seath was still alive, they decided to stuff him into a sleeping bag and set it ablaze. With the help of Michael’s stepfather, who was aware of the plan to kill Seath, the teens then dismembered his charred remains and placed them into paint cans that were subsequently discarded in a lime quarry. All who were involved in the gruesome murder of Seath Jackson were sentenced to life in prison except for Michael, the ringleader of the crime, who was handed the death penalty.
Another day, another club meeting. Amber debates working on her charisma or programming... but while she works as an agent handler, in her heart of hearts she would love to play - and write - music one day.
And there are instruments all over the Wells home, just begging to be played... if only she knew how! She gingerly picks up the nearest one.
When he hears the first faltering guitar notes from across the second floor deck, Ben can’t help himself. Maybe he should limit his contact with his son’s clever fiancee... instead, he goes over to give her a few pointers.
(Yeah, the Musical Genius aspiration is kind of a mismatch with her career IMO, but we can make it work!)
One moment he’s the same Peter she first met; the next - he’s similar, but different. Not just the blue skin and black hair, either: his eyes look a little larger, nose and jaw a trifle sharper...
...but still handsome to her.
“You’re a gorgeous man either way,” Amber assures him, and kisses him.
“So the wedding’s still on?” he says with a hopeful smile.
When I went into my old Ultimate Sim save and gave the guys a MM makeover, I did a little scouting through the households in Manage Worlds and realized...
...I don’t like a lot of that save’s current unattached townies in the Young Adult age range. I have the Wells fam in Selvadorada right now, and their first day there was Love Day; Peter was the only one who got a bit of a flirt in, with Nalani Mahi’ai* (who is for some reason tending bar in Selva, go figure). However, I’ve heard too many nightmare stories about the children of two different Occult types breaking saves, so - sorry Peter, no sweet mermaid girlfriend for you.
Then I remembered that I have a kind of ridiculous number of unused female Sims in my library. So I picked five of them to run a casual, in-house “mini-Bachelor” experiment.
(I didn’t set out to pick two A names and two H names, it just turned out that way. Hazel and Natalie are both on my Gallery page; the other three haven’t made it there because I’m a CC addict. 😅 Also yes, I know, over-use of the Creative trait lol.)
I put down a house from the Gallery (”50 Shades of Grey“ by Gallery user dolendae) and made a few edits - mostly taking out kids’ bedrooms and replacing them with beds for the ladies, putting a pool in the backyard, swapping out the laundry room for a sauna. Adding a closet and a poohoo bush. You know, as you do. The house went down in Newcrest, to avoid unwanted Welcome Wagons; lot traits set to Private Residence and Romantic Aura.
For MCCC settings, I chose No Jealousy, No-Strings Woohoo, and Autonomous Woohoo... and let the mayhem begin! I checked Peter’s and the contestants’ whims randomly, to see who was thinking about whom, but went with a mix of whims and the Sims’ autonomous interactions in the long run.
The goal was, leave them mostly on their own for a week (only stepping in if somebody’s needs get dire), and see who he had the highest relationship levels with at the end of one game week. Then I’ll add that Sim to the main Ultimate Sim save and get them together there!
...could I have just sent Peter to University to meet someone there? Yeah, I probably could have - but honestly the prep and time in-game I spent with this was still far less than how long it took to get Malia through her degree - and she wasn’t trying to find a spouse at the same time!
(Each following post will be one game-day of the actual play.)
* Island Living and every pack that came later, I bought after my Ultimate Sim save had gone on extended hiatus. While most of the OG townies have aged out and passed, any who were introduced later than that pack are still at their starting ages.
