Steph is remarkably straightforward about it despite being insanely nervous. She shows up and sits next to Rachel while she and Chloe are talking, and Just asks Rachel if she wants to check out a new movie with her. Rachel turns to look at Chloe but she’s suspiciously vanished.
The movie turns out to be a bust but Rachel finds other ways to distract herself playing with Steph’s hair. And Steph is trying REALLY hard to pretend to watch the movie and not freakout because “Holy shit Rachel Amber is right here, on a date, WITH ME.”
Rachel makes the first move and kisses Steph when Steph drops her off at home.

Happy Little Accidents, Chapter 2: What is my life?
Preview: Chloe pushes through the door, unceremoniously dumping her bag full of papers to grade off to the right and jamming her keys on the hook to the left. She takes a deep breath, running a hand through her hair as she tries and fails to process what the hell happened.
Fuck she was so cute, but I am so not ready for anything right now.
She shakes her head, scattering the whirlwind of thoughts, she has shit to grade tonight. Whatever the fuck happened with that woman who rear ended her can wait.
Why the fuck is it so quiet? Normally the commune is way louder than this.
She kicks off her shoes and walks down the short hallway into the common space and she finds her answer. Rachel shoots her a wink and holds a finger up to her lips and Chloe nearly jumps for joy as she sees the chronic insomniac herself passed out with her head in Rachel’s lap.
She creeps closer, trying to not make a sound until she’s within whisper range. “Holy shit, how did you get Steph to sleep?”
“Full body massage and a lot of sex with Reem and Sam.”
“Of course. You two always were insatiable.”
