It's been over a month since my birthday, but finally got my Weather Station up and running! Still haven't got it up on Weather Underground yet, but I'll be working on that stuff today. Do much data! 🥰 Gotta come up with a fun/cool name for it too. Odd data gap on our weather station. I thought the battery went dead (I meant to replace it with lithium as soon as the weather improves) but it came back up after the high winds. Planning on securing it with guide wires too. Introducing AmbientWeather

As said I'm hitting the wall with Instago and I'm getting nowhere with understanding the signage process of Instagram. Well, I understand it but getting around it is the actual issue. So I decided to take a break and do something else for a while.

As a result I created AmbientWeather, a simple, glanceable weather  app that shows the current weather (via http://openweathermap.org/) for a location (set manually via http://www.mapquestapi.com/ or GPS) and shows fitting Flickr images from Project Weather.

Basically I toyed around with animations and transitions for the different screen resolutions and as a first draft I'm kinda happy with it.

You can find the source code here at Github and the app will be available for free in BB World as soon as its approved.
